I got tears of Joy as I watched this. I am not a Jew.I am a Christian. I might become a Jew, G_d willing. I have been learning about Judaism. This is my first ever pass over celebration to watch. Thanks Jackie, from the bottom of my heart for posting this. Shalom.
I do belive that the passover is only for jews. the law says that no one who is uncircumcised ( of the jewish faith) can parcicipate in the passover seder...
@lugvonfalk It is actually Jewish tradition to welcome all people to the passover seder. Jews and gentiles alike. Also, what better way to educate non-jews about our customs.
@chufuss Try going to Asknoah.org. It contains some information regarding Gentile participation in the festivals. It is directed more specifically to those Gentiles who are Noahides, but the information is general enough for all Gentiles. The answer to the holiday question also includes references to consult if you need more input.
It's true he is a qualified rabbi and he did want to be a cantor. A person can only be one or the other and he chose to be a rabbi before becoming a comedian.
In the first paragraph everything in it is true, as for what I'm about to type about to type as to why he became a comedian.... well that may not be! I heard he was prompted to became a comedian because his sermons were so funny!
Jackie--If you read this, please know how wonderful it is to see more than your comedy. I tuned in to see what I expected to be anything but a traditional Seder. Your chanting is enchanting!

the original passover was to be eaten quickly with walking stick in hand if i remember right. A truely beautiful tradition in my opinion that was in fact a prophecy of an even greater redemption

Both Christianity and Islam took the violence from the OT while adding a few, uh, twists. Here we see a 6,000 year old and very stupid tradition with the added feature of Jackie's singing. It's clear that Jackie should never, ever sing--not even Happy Birthday.
That was beautilful. I'm not Jewish, I'm a Christian...i wish we did this too, after all that's also in our bible. I would be honored if I were ever to presence a passover seder(?). Could a friend invite me or only Jews are allowed? :)

You are a hypocrit and a poor excise for a human being. You say you are religious and a believer and thereby humane, and yet you rambled on for 10 minutes how 3 defenseless "bums" on the seas o fthe United States of America should have been shot quicker than they actually were. You are an antisemtic inbred pig, moron.
I am not Jewish but a person I subscribe to on Youtube for political reasons unrelated to religion who coincidently is a rabbi whos opinion I respect posted his Seder and said never eat square matzo only round. I also watch Jackie again for non religious reasons he has resources why the cheap matzo?
Square matzo is machine made. Round matza is hand made. Some prefer to use handmade. Since this is only a practice Seder, he may not be using handmade Matza which can be harder to get.
Square matza is machine made in factories the year around. Shmura matza is handmade before Pesach, it's hard and slow work. That is why it's harder to get and 20 times more expensive.
Handmade is usually used during the actual Seder only.
Since Jackie does not use the full name of G-d and is filming this, this is clearly a practice Passover Seder not actually filmed on Pesach. He may not have bought the actual handmade yet.
