  • I kinda hated that bus in the begining...It had powerful brakes...so ppl used to fall most of the time XD including me and I dont know...it dint felt solid at all. The suspension was too hard for me, but I got used to it XD and thoses buses are getting better and better now :D BTW I LOVE THE SOUND!!!!!

  • I find Toronto has the worst transit system in the world! It takes like 3 hours to get downtown from Mississauga. When in Montreal it takes like 30 mins to get downtown from Laval

  • Used MTL tranist last summer. THOSE BUSES SUCK. No AC???? What the fuck? Check out "TTC HEV". They are the new Electrics. But TO still has some old "NEW LOOK" on the roads, but AC is surely something MTL should have on their transit ( Subway included )

    WHAT THE FUCK? Man I think TO has it good. We still have old beater buses, but most have AC. But check those TTC HEV ( Electrics ) they sound nice

  • I had taken a similar bus to that, but seems that the transmission have 7 speed instead of 6. It was on a 2004 NovaBus LFS that i've noted that surprise. BUt i don't know if they have 7 speed or 6 speed.

  • It's a ZF 6HP552C tranny. It's the only ZF transmission that Novabus offers.

  • Quebec system ordered their ISL on a lower HP, so it will be 6HP502.

  • It can be a 5HP502 or any 6-speed HP-2 series but with the 6th gear explcitly disabled.

    Take the Enviro 500 bodied Dennis Trident in Hong Kong as an example. When first introduced in fall 2003, the 6th gear was disabled before commission. But after a year or so the 6th gear on these buses were gradually re-enabled. Since then, newly commissioned Enviro 500 Tridents all have the 6th gear remained enabled as default.

  • possibly a 4HP502 . The 500 Series have been replaced . But it sounds like a 5HP 5-speed .

  • Yes. But nowadays they use 6HP554s. The other transmission options include the Allison B400R6 and the Voith D864.3.
