I've been trying to find this song for a few months now. I had heard it in a movie but forgotten which. It was "Sex is zero" in part 5, 2:15. A comment mentioned name and singer and here I am. Heard the song in Hong Kong back in 2000-2001 and got a mixed music video VCD with the song in Nanning, Guang Xi, March 2001.

...... Audition was like 5-7 years after "Wa" came out. This was uploaded onto youtube in 2006 but the actual song and this performance were probably arounr 1996 or such considering "Wa" was her first single and she debuted in 1996. maybe 1997.

well, she lipsync most of the time when she's on stage but the only that made her so unique is because she wore a tiny microphone on the pinky when performing. That was her image when she started her singing career, I don't think she still does that now!
