One trick i've learned when it gets hotter is to use some shade cloth, fold it in half to make a double layer, then shade ONLY the fruits so they don't get sunscald. The leaves need as much sun as possible so dont shade the leaves, only the fruit.
great video sorry about ur tomatoes, guess it was too hot for them..perhaps shading them? also did u try pollinating the blooms yourself like u did your squash?
