@guitar911schirmer I just finished a box yesterday actually and we just bought an eight foot long piece of angle iron relatively cheap and they cut it for us. All we did was look in the phonebook for Steel Fabricators or Steel Manufacturers. Basically anything with the word "steel" in it. And as far as sizes go (cuz they will ask), I recommend 2x2 and about a quarter of an inch thick. then just tell em how long you need it.

its angle iron. u can get it at menards or home depot or any hardware store...costs anywhere from $10-$50 depending on the size. just make sure its angle IRON not angle ALUMINUM. just drill a couple holes and counter sync em. no bumps and smooth slides every time.

My box is EXACTLY like that and it's the best one I've built yet. If you suck at building maybe it will break, but if you do it correctly it covers all the necessary structural requirements. Anything else is just excessive and adds weight and if you are mobile with your box, you know weight is a bitch.
