I used to live in El Centro and the air show every March was UNBELIEVABLE!! they even had one of the few remaining B-29's that could still fly show up a few times plus if you have ever seen Fat Albert Take off there is almost no comparison

@amlanhi god I don't know... 8, 9... 10g's - I'm not sure what sort of 'limits' (if any,) the fly-by-wire system governs for those positive g's. However, a single dose like that is a piece of cake for these guys. Sustaining high g loads is a much, much, tougher story.

The first Blue Angel F-18 will not retract their landing gear until they reach their level off altitude. It's intentional and part of that planes program in the show. ;-)

Im not try to be know-it-all but, it's not all about speed. I think want to be an f22 pilot now. Fast, Stealthy, and Deadly.

@lourke123 The F22 isn't necessarily fast. But it is very maneuverable. Look up edwards air force base 2009 airshow F22. They put on a really good demonstration with one. it was awesome. It is so maneuverable it isn't even funny

When I was in the AF the Wing Commander at Bergstrom would do the same thing in his F-4 every time he took off. He was such a showoff. It was so cool. Wow, your camera is amazing, too.
