i've been using paint for only a little while so far, and so i'm still sortof a noob :P could you maybe explain what it was you did or what tool you used to wipe out all of the red without getting rid of the black? that would make life so much easier when sketching and transferring a proper outline of top of it >< thankyouu :)

@SuperAmbear You have it selected as your first colour, then when on the Rubber tool, hold down the right, and then use like you normally would.

@lovingheart4 Ah. there's nothing really that I can teach, honestly. I'm still not very good, either. It takes a lot of practice, and just a feel for the lines and the way things should look.

Very, very impressive. You should get photoshop or flash. It'll allow you to work about a hundred times faster and it automates some of the things I see you doing by hand. Plus, it works on layers so you can move things around without making new files.

if ur talking bout the eraser, if you hold down the Ctrl key and hold the + key on the # bored while u hold the Ctrl key, it will enlargen as long as u continue holding it

Practice alot. Referance as much as you can.

By hand, trace things. BUT NOT TO SHOW OFF TO YOUR FRIENDS AS YOUR OWN WORK.

Do it to train your hand to certain movements. That's how I learned.

Hell, almost a year agao, I couldn't draw a straight line.

Hold "ctrl" and "+". Make sure the plus is on the numberpad to your right. If your on a laptop, then press "ctrl" "Fn" and the BLUE plus sign thats also on the "?" key.

Really sweet drawing. Funny how you were googling for some inspiration for the outfit and ended up with something completely else (lol, that could have been me). Even though you decided for the angel instead of the fairy, the green clothes look kinda fairy-ish - very cute ^^

I think the weirdest incident was when I took a horse as reference and in the end I erased and redrew THAT much that I had to make a cat out of it.

Well, i have a pretty big tablet, except, I HATE puting down the final lines with the pen, because its SOOOOOOOO much slower than my mouse. So i just do the sketchlines with the pen.
