Im on such a big JT kick lately. This song sparked my interest into early JT. Man I extremely impressed and have a general affinity to his style. I love the flute along with their hard driving sound. Im so glad I get to live in the time of Jethro Tull. Genius. Back to the Family is one of those songs that I will live to the rest of my life. I will continue to listen and live to many early Tull songs now.

A pity that Martin Barres guitar sound goes completely missing during 'Back to the Family'. It was one of Tulls standout songs.

You can say that again. Clive has to be the most underrated & misjudged drummers of that era.
I was and still am very influenced by him as a drummer.
