@Phantomx1029384756 actually not really...In the game now a days, Pikachu has really bad stats compared to other Pokemon and could be defeated easily. Even in the anime (or the crap 4kids version) Satoshi/Ash's Pikachu is a special case, you have to accept that Pikachu is one of the shit tier Pokemon. (I had to learn that lesson when my team was being held back by my Pikachu...)

I hate people who make fun of other people's legendary pokemon by calling them ubers. Hey! legendary pokemon is allowed and there is no rule that states that he/she can't use a legendary pokemon. Don't blame the pokemon that you fail at pokemon battles. Blame yourself.

"Uber" is a tier not an insult look up pokemon tiers to see why people call em ubers. Not all legendary pokemon are uber, but most ubers are legendary. this battle is where the move Mean Look would have come in handy. The only battle. Altaria had a pretty good lineup, but just got overpowered by that Gyarados. I must confess, I am a power trainer too, going after attacks rather than status, except for Sleep Powder. My team is Raichu, Lapras (that knows Surf and Sheer Cold), Charizard, Pidgeot, Vileplume (w/ sleep powder), and Gengar.

@WainwrightSt Being all power is a strategy, you just need to balance your moves to be able to fight back against any type of pokemon, so for example if you have a fire pokemon try to have moves that might work against your opposite types, you know what i mean?To be the strategy type just use moves to recovcer HP and maybe some moves that might cause confusion and other status effects you can also put your opponent to sleep and try to use stat rising moves and then finish it in 1 move :D
