Bob-- Excellent series. I've enjoyed your podcast series of past TGO Challenges. I think they gave a good impression of the social aspect of the challenge. The video series though showed me what the countryside looks like. Being from California the Scottish landscape is as foreign as the moon. Some day I hope to do my own TGO . Jim White. California
Great little series, which for Challenge walkers is helpful. The next time I do it I'll be travelling much lighter than the 20Kg load I had last time. With heavy boots I suffered badly with blisters, so I like the idea of trainers and short gaiters. Like the camera on the walking pole as well!
Pray tell the name of the songs in the background of all your video, the music is just wonderful so as the video, would like to purchase a copy of the music cd. Thanks so much for posting them.
Congrats on making it !! if you dont mind me asking were did you by the post cosy's from OR were did you purchase the material as i could benefit from one of these massively :-)...thanks
@chris25119600 If you are in the UK, Google backpackinglight and you'll find the Pot Cosy Kits. I'll do a 'how to' video soon, and show how much heat they can retain.
Great stuff TOS and as usual well presented, .....I was in Fort William, climbing Ben Nevis, at end of last May, with a little wild camping thrown in and it rained for 2 days non stop.....but loved it all the same. When is the next trip....?
It's interesting that you carried the Honey rather than your Bushbuddy or even the Evernew wood burner. I like the look of the new insert for the Honey, could be another addition when it comes out. Any news on a Ti Honey yet ?
@Shewie01 The US company with the Titanium sold it without telling me! The Honey Stove was the better cooker for the job on this trip, as I explained in the video.
