This is the song that got me into staind. I was in high school back in '08 when I first heard this song on the radio. I'm in college now and I continue to listen to there music and it has given me a more positive outlook on life.

staind is a great band and im happy they are back makeing more music, there music got me thou my dark day as a teenager when i feeled like i could not go on any more, i would just go into my room and listen to them. and now i still love to listen to them. i let my kids listen to them and i hope one day when they get to the point, they will feel the same way like alot of people out there do, all there songs are helpful in some way.

there are so many times i wished i was strong enough (or weak enough depending on your viewpoints) to take my own life...and 9 times out of ten on those days and nights it was staind's music that saved my life. if i could enver meet aaron lewis face to face i want to shake his hand and thank him, cause things do get better. i still have down days but i am able to power thru them now.

Ironically doing something for someone else quietly and silently will do wonders in curing the problem. IMO, Staind went down hill after Break the Cycle. They're no where near as heavy or hard as they used to be. Break The Cycle was an incredible album!

there are so many times i wished i was strong enough (or weak enough depending on your viewpoints) to take my own life...and 9 times out of ten on those days and nights it was staind's music that saved my life. if i could enver meet aaron lewis face to face i want to shake his hand and thank him, cause things do get better. i still have down days but i am able to power thru them now.

I haven't listened to them in a few years because i was so depressed when i used to listen and right now, i am going through something very difficult, wanting to give up but knowing i can't because, you are right...they do get better.

@TheAmazingManMan I'm glad you hung in there. I was in the same kinda point in my life many years ago when I was younger. For me it was Metallica that saved my life. Staind wasn't around yet. But I do love their music. I feel the same if I could meet James Hetfield I would tell him thank you for saving me from the darkness. I still struggle from time to time but who doesn't right? I'm glad your still here. Hang in there. Keep a rockin!

I've noticed several comments similar to yours on the Staind videos. Suicidal thoughts are actually very selfish and self-centered. Ironically doing something for someone else quietly and silently will do wonders in curing the problem. As just one example- try sending $38/ mo to some kid in another country through a non-profit like compassion dotcom. "Poverty sends a message to children that they don't matter."

Everytime I listen to this song I think of when I was in Afghanistan when this song come out and it took a girl I cared about very much to introduce me to this song. I think about here all the time regardless of this retarted shit she's done to me Ill always love you. Octavia Berning you and our Daughter Rylee will always be my only true love. IMO, Staind went down hill after Break the Cycle. They're no where near as heavy or hard as they used to be. Break The Cycle was an incredible album!
