I use my xbox gamertag as for windows live so I think you can at least send txt msgs. Idk about microphone chat, however.

i should say, the base building of dow 1-4 was a little hard on the tendons...

my beef is going through steam every time i play.

otherwise, i can't spend enough time playing it. (maybe only one hour a day on campaign thus far)

Thats not the case. You can play in online just like everyone else, no matter have you friends or not.

Great video. Though to me, every race except Space Marines, looks overpowered. But I will see to it myself, when I get a copy of this great game.

everytime i put disc in and click install , it goes to the end of the thing ( before signing up for Windows Live or puttin in CD code ) at the end of it it comes up sayig " The isntallation of the disc could not be complete" !!!!! WTF????? plz reply!!!!!

Its a beta offcurse it lags and iff it lags it tells u why it lags on the left corner edge of the screen my computer surpasses WAYYYYY alot of it and it stills lag

this game is awesome..but mine lags so much and i dont know why..I looked up the minimum requirements and i pass them by alot and the recommnded i meet. so i have no idea why it lags..and alot of my friend lag too..and my computer is brand new.

I find it astonishing that in a tutorial for the beta for this game their already being rude towards their competitor. Nor starcraft 2 or this game are anywhere near completion so how can you be rude or even compare either?

Been playing this for the last couple of days, and its bloody awesome. I cant believe everyone is complaining about the lack of base building. Contrary to what it seems this game is far more strategic than the original DOW imo, except the strategy is all about the fights, terrain abilities and units you field.

I consider this an evolution of the rts series and it cuts out the tedium of base building. Satrcraft 2?? yawn. this is my game
