it took me almost all 50 minutes of the quest to do gypcecros...do you have to do the 3 wyvern egg quest on 5 star?...anybody know?(I mean like to unlock the quests marked down as urgent... I just want Khezu to tell the truth...)

@bigmegas could be 2 late for the answer but u have to kill cypceros wehn u destroy his thing on the head u can get the light crystal from him could be u can get it without destroying it not sure but the chance is sure higher to get the stone wehn u smash it

@Mrfunnehtummeh i cant tell u why but i always go 4 his head and wehn his head thing is destroyed u get much free hits wehn he tries to make u dizz and i kill the bullfangos in the areas where he goes makes it much easyer cause they dont respawn wehn u leave the area

I've always hated the Bullfango on this quest...Even now, when I have nearly full Los (With the exception of the Helm, which is Ian) and a Redwing, I'm still pissed at the Bullfango. Not so much about the damage that they deal (That was why I was always pissed at them before; they always killed me before I could finish off Gypceros), but the fact that their charges knock you down and there are MULTIPLE BULLFANGO AT A TIME.

i done this quest like a milion time!!!!!!and end without lightcrystal......but you!!!just once!!!!it's not fair.........

somebody please tell me some tips how to get the lightcrystal......i've try to get one before...

oi-i got an idea. there was supposed to be this place(this is for the psp version btw, idk if it's for the ps2 version as well) in town which you could go and buy mining spots, and ore would respawn in those mining spots every now and then. the more mining spots you buy, the more ore you get, and i got like half a dozen light crystals from it =}. either you can do that or kill that wyvern like 20 times until you get one =/

to get cephalos fin u need to kill the Cephadrome and if ur lucky they would give u 1 or 2 and crystals is easy just kill Gypceros like 3 or 4 times

to get a light crytal easy trade a gaint beak(which you carve of a YKK) with the old man in the swamp zone. the chances of carveing a gaint beak off a YKK are VERY slim, just keep trying and carve near its head. hope this helps

oh also if u want to get plesioth armor you can trade the yain kut kut shells and other things with the forest zone's elder for a plesioth scale, trade the Cephalos fins for Rathalos webbing and u can get monster fuild from vespiod by using poison shot lvl 1 or from attack of the bugs quest
