"Ego out of whack" or just a great stage persona within the tradition of blues (Junior Wells, Howlin Wolf, Little Walter). Plays a Les Paul in a variety of blues stylings: B.B. King, Muddy to Duane Allman (or "White Boys Style" as Linsey called it.) Writes a lot of his own songs (Reefer and Blow was a ballsy number) and plays paying gigs damn-near daily (Check out his website). You don't have to like him, but the guy gets paid to sing and play the blues his way. That makes him a professional.
I received my blues baptism in Kingston Mines thanks to Mr. Alexander. He allows me to grace the stage and gave me a fine introduction to Chicago Blues. He a good musician with a big heart!!!!
What are you ? Just as much of an amateur as he is ? Get real ! Get a grip ! Ggo buy sime recordes and listen to what you are not getting amteurish hacks who are known on one city block. IMO
You do not THINK he is amateur - Yyou KNOW he is an amateur. I agree with you. When these guys understand; that they not story tellers but they are guitar slingers . I wish Otis Rrush, Aalbert Collins, Junior Wells, Howlin ' Wolf, Muddy, Ssunnyland Slim would resurrect and give these clowns a serious music lesson. It is all abooooout Linsey and not the tradition of the blues.

I know. Ain't it a shame. Sooner or later, the people that hire this to play there... They can do so much better

He might as well be playing in the "Salt Mines". On a scale of 1 to 10, he's a three!
