"Horror-Action-Adventure-Drama­-Comedy"? Hellsing's hard to categorize - harder than, say, One Piece or something. It's more "horror" in that most every OVA features graphic violence and (towards the later ones) gratuitous and unnecessary amounts of gore. I never really payed attention to it, as I was more interested in watching the characters interact than watching them work their way through the plot (which in addition to having NAZIS, is pretty cliche').

This is from the Hellsing Ultimate OVA series, a remake started in 2004 or so. It's /still/ in production, though the English Dub... I have to say I've given up all hope of the dubs being finished.

Well I mean the series is coming along and still being made, but only episodes 1-4 got the dub treatment before Geneon USA, the current license holder for the series in N/A went under. Currently the license hasn't been picked up, and after two years of waiting, I'm beginning to think it never will be.

The subs are lovely though, but I wish the dubs would be finished..

For the OVA files I use an AVI format. I usually export in high quality WMV, or when I can HD, though only the new Windows Live Movie maker (which totally sucks btw) exports in that format. Thankfully you can open normal Movie Maker files in the program, so I think it's something I'm gonna start doing.
