WOW this makes me look like i absolutley am one of the greatest fishermen on the planet... When i go up there for the salmon run, I use my 9 weight flyrod and im using a size 12 wool egg, yes the catch rate is low, (about 3/10) but good lord is it more fun than this, and what a rush when you are able to catch one of these giants on a size 12 or 14 WOOL EGG! that it actually ate by the way... Didnt snag the damn thing

The fish are going up to spawn and die anyway so why the ^%$# does it matter. I grew up with both my parents fishing when snagging was king and legal back in the late 80's early 90's. People need to get off the cross

There is nothing I love more than watching videos of "Anglers" hanging fish on a coat hooks, casting no more than 3 yards and landing some busted ass stove pipe salmon. Reminds me why I live in the Northwest.....
