The HDDs stay at a constant 39C. That's enough plumbing...even for three PA120.3 radiators and two IwakiRD30 pumps.

I upgraded the system since this vid. CAS4 Kingston RAM and some ES X5470 CPUs that are currently running at 4.1ghz under load continuously crunching from WCG (BOINC). With the increase in CPU power and bandwidth I am seeing much better results in every category including Futuremark benchmarks. For a while this rig was one of my slower PCs lol...but now it's back on top.

what kind memory you went with?... mushkin memory / crucial / kingston?

Since it is FB DIMM ECC RAM I chose Transcend. I used 4 x 2GB. Kingston is supposed to be coming out with some Low Latency FB DIMM that I am keen to try.

FB DIMMs do not respond well to overclocking. The best I can hope for is low latency and large capacity.

Cooler: IwakiRD30 on Meanwell 24V PSU with 6 Panaflo 86.5 cfm fans on a 12V PSU with a Bonnie Heatercore and a pair of fans just for the helluvit. This goes to a metering manifold built from brass T fittings and 3/8 BallValves.
