@talisman9000 I heard that before as well! I like to see them make these same glove with dark brown palm instead of black etc... Thanks for watching and commenting.
Oh to follow-up, I recently had a chance to visit a Harbor Freight They carry these exact same thin nitrile coated knit gloves I mentioned for $1.99. I grabbed a few pair at that price. Can't tell any diff between the HF ones and lowes version.
Also I think HF has started a $6.99 flat rate shipping policy (on most orders)...if you don't live near a HF, these gloves would be great as a throw-in to your cart when ordering something else.
Sorry Fletch, didn't mean to piggyback on your review bro!
FYI, I was working on my truck last week and I bought a new pair of nitrile mechanics gloves at Lowes for $3.98. These are the really thin nitrile coated knit gloves-very high dexterity, almost sticky. The name brand is by GoJo (they make the hand cleaner) and are usually carried at Advance Auto parts for around $6+.
While great for wrenching, they make excellent shooting gloves as well. Pretty damned warm too (around 40F). I got an extra pair that I didn't grease up just to keep for shooting.
@unscmaverick I prefer fingerless as well. They are actually quite comfortable and warm. You also wouldn't have to deal the fabric backing "balling" up. Thanks for your comment.
Good info! I have been tossing around the idea of getting a pair of those for my BOB. I know they have several different types. Hard to make a decision!
Excelent review!

@Bomb1525 Size medium on the Mechanix Wear sizing chart... Thanks for your comment.

I just picked some up and would recommend making sure theyre not too big. If theyre too big it will be hard for your trigger squeeze.
