@SquaficleDude That is where the movie kind of got confusing. I went back and watched it, and after Godzilla was erased, everyone still remembered him. That shouldn't be. If Godzilla is gone, all memory of him should be gone as well. In theory there would be duplicates of the people who went back, or they never existed at all. Guess Toho decided to ignore the Grand Father Paradox's.

Also, if they had erased the original godzilla, no one would remember him or sending people back to remove him from time. Once they got back from the past, no one would know what they were talking about and G-Center would have been KG-Center, as King Gahdora took the place of Godzilla. Time is complicated.

@porpus99 There was a LITTLE thing that was slipped that made the time travel make sense. See, the writer of the book found something. In the bering sea, a sub with nuclear weapons crashed and was never salvaged, the EXACT same spot they sent the Godzillasaurus to.

Godzilla was never wiped from time and King Ghidorah lay dormant on the island until the future people started controlling him.

The modern sub just supercharged Godzilla.

@M6000TCSystem the explanations they give in the movie for space godzilla's origins are conflicting. g-cells could have been attatched to mothra, or the cells could have come from biollante, who is actually made from godzilla cells. these theories conflict cause godzilla vs king ghidorah altered the timeline, and in reality that means there's no biollante since there's no g-cells. both explanations are acceptable though. i recommend seeing cinnemassacre's godzillathon 21 video
