  • Kong makes great toys. However, my dog would have no problems squeezing through the wires. Not only did I zip tie the corners, I also put locks in the corners, she was able to get through the front of the cage by squeezing through the wires. I have gone through 3 cages, they are not match for my dog.

  • Great for seniors or maybe disabled people to use at home. But not good for dog show people that pack everything on the tops of the crates on their carts. And wow the price is too high.I have a 42" one door steel crate someone gave me.Free is good too.

  • It is true that some dogs will get out of a crate no matter what you do. My suggestion was more for those people whose dogs could not force their way out but may try to lift the doors of this crate.

  • Good idea with the rubber feet and vertical door. Needs a safety lock, it is annoying using aftermarket hooks, etc. And the parts should be stainless to prevent rust from drool. But the irony of seeing that dog stuffed into a crate way too small for his size! Sanctuary? You should be putting the right size dog in the right size crate for the public's mind. Unless you really believe that merely being able to (barely) stand up and turn around is REALLY the right way to crate a dog.

  • @RiverplacePetCare that crate is plenty big enough for that dog...Look at it when the dog lays down, and stands and sits. his head doesn't even touch the top. How big of a crate does a dog need?...that was rhetorical:P

  • folds for traveling=good idea for hotels that require dogs to be crated

  • You guys do realize the solution to the inadequate latch right?... Use a metal clip, caribiner, or padlock to secure the door.

  • @LAHagens Unfortunately even with a carabiner our dog managed to bend the door out far enough on his regular latch crate to squeeze through the space- not a small feat for a 100 lb dog. We have to zip tie the edges too, so he doesn't get the corners unlatched. Recently we moved to a new house and he flipped out inside his crate. I spent most of the night putting him back in after he chewed through the zip ties, flipped the crate onto its door, and squeezed out the corners.

  • Well, the door edges may be stronger than average, but the crate as a whole is still just a wire crate--doesn't appear to be any stronger than an average model.

  • @emiarmstrong Get a life yourself and grow up. Who cares what she has to say or how she says it. I'm sure you have sworn in your life too.

  • It's definitely pretty and I love the rubber feet.

  • $130.00? Err, no. Besides, what would I do without having the top of the crate to pile my laundry on?

  • Would love to see a locking mechanism on this, more than just the "safety" clip. The sliding door is a neat idea..but not practical if you put the kennel under a table or have to cover it.

  • I ca see my guys LIFTING the doors up, especially if they don't lock into place.

  • I really like the way the doors work. Foldable. Excellent dog crate! Great Idea!

  • @Metalgirl0210 Chances are that dog of yours is more intelligent than you are.

  • @trevorsbabysweetpea

I really don't understand why you people are having such an issue with the way this metalgirl is talking. If you don't like it ignore it! Grow up yourselves and get over it. Welcome to America it's a free country where people can say what they want and post whatever they want on the internet.

  • @Metalgirl0210 Your comment is so filthy your mouth need washing out with Fels Naptha soap. why don't you grow up and behave like a human being. You could make your point without the filthy mouth.

  • ouch...a 36" crate retails for $129.99 on Petsmart.com, plus shipping it's $153.98. i think i'll stick to my Midwest Lifestages crates for $60 on Amazon and free shipping. It has two doors too and I have three of the crates so far...they're great.

I love kongs and wubbas though.

  • Well this is interesting. I wonder how durable it actually is. On a side note, the actress is horrible. Was this a practice run or something she is obviously reading from a monitor.

  • Glad I saw this. I bet I know what my next pet purchase is going to be... The KONG! An awesome product!

  • Does the door lock closed in some way?

  • Metalgirl0210. You have a mouth that needs washing out with Fels Naptha soap.

Why don't you grow up and behave like a human being. You could make your point without the filthy mouth

  • My Jack Russell Terrier would break out of this in... oh about 3 minutes.

  • I like this crate. Does it come in a smaller size?

So convenient. No bending down. Great for us seniors.
