Im tired of this conversation..... A 350z has never beat me!! I get the launch n they never catch up!! I have gone 0 to over a 100 mph and never catch up!! Its proven in my videos .... There is the guy admiting i beat him twice.
I raced a stock R32 with my stock Z and I got the same result. The R32 was faster off the line but I caught up and passed him. The 350z overpowers the R once you get to 3rd gear.
I guess the guy didn't know how to race it and with that giant speaker in the trunk and the passenger as well!!! Of course he will lose, go to my videos and check my video racing a 2006 350z with my R32 I whooped his ass twice...

i had a z and i have an r32, the r32 is better car all aroudn man, the mkv r32 is horribly underrated in the stock times that are commonly listed and as far as handling goes the mkv r32 is much much better. i loved the z but theyre pretty evenly match in most cases as far as speed goes even if alot of quoted times say otherwise i know for a fact theyre underrated in many cases

um no, the 06 had 300 hp and the 05 anniversary edition also had 300 hp. I owned an 06 so I should know what I'm talking about. The 07-08 had 306 but using the new hp rating system, which under the old one would be more like 314 hp.

If that's the case... This 350Z is the 287 HP version & it weighs just under 3,300 Lbs. The 2008 R32 weighs 3,521 Lbs. The 350Z should be a little faster as is the case in this video. I'd still rather have the R32 over the 350Z though. Just my opinion. The 350Z is a nice car though.

I've beat a Z with my GTi. Its that torque that helps out the most. A chipped GTi has more torque than the .:R. Dont worry tho, in 2010, the new R-line will have a 2.0T engine w/ like 270HP nd 4wd.

Ahh not really considering if you cna move of the line faster through gearing alone then you can obviously gear out of corners faster aswell making you a faster car, if he can beat a 32 AWD golf that easy then he shouldnt have many problems doing it on a track too. That being said both cars arnt exactly fast, but none the less around the track the Z would probably win aswell.
based o the engine sound I can deduce you were in S mode, which is not changing gears when tachometer reached the redline but a little earlier, the R32 can keep up with a 350Z you need to learn to unleash the power and don't be shy of reving the VR6 to its very limits on a drag race like that, another thing did you use launch control for the drag race? it seems you were just starting from a standard mode using SPORT mode, shame.
Why wouldnt you start to walk an r32 like that? It weighs 3500 lbs stock thats the same amount as a 350z if not a little bit more my Z weighs 3347lbs. and yor giving up 37hp DE engines in older models and even more to HR engines in newer Z's so it dont surprise me really. Overal quality the r32 is much better car though especialy inside which is why i'm sellin my z and getting one.

this 350Z is not a late-model (it's 05 or before) so it has less than 300 bhp.

keep in mind 350z is a rear wheel drive & R32 is 4-motion 4WD
keep in mind that R32 have DSG .. Direct Shift Gear which shifts in 8 milliseconds .. and 350z have a manual or cheap automatic gearbox
never trust the papers .. never trust websites
get both of the cars put them on the road .. test them than you can judge which one is faster, better and fun 2 drive

I've beat a Z with my GTi. Its that torque that helps out the most. A chipped GTi has more torque than the .:R. Dont worry tho, in 2010, the new R-line will have a 2.0T engine w/ like 270HP nd 4wd.

People are so stupid, they are talking about slow shifting, believe me you can never shit faster dan an dsg transmission it shift in 0.3 sec ore someting, if iam right, and this R32 fore sure has dsg. But he dit dont killed the R32 i easy pulled away, expected more from the Z

Ahh not really considering if you cna move of the line faster through gearing alone then you can obviously gear out of corners faster aswell making you a faster car, if he can beat a 32 AWD golf that easy then he shouldnt have many problems doing it on a track too. That being said both cars arnt exactly fast, but none the less around the track the Z would probably win aswell.

based o the engine sound I can deduce you were in S mode, which is not changing gears when tachometer reached the redline but a little earlier, the R32 can keep up with a 350Z you need to learn to unleash the power and don't be shy of reving the VR6 to its very limits on a drag race like that, another thing did you use launch control for the drag race? it seems you were just starting from a standard mode using SPORT mode, shame.

Why wouldnt you start to walk an r32 like that? It weighs 3500 lbs stock thats the same amount as a 350z if not a little bit more my Z weighs 3347lbs. and yor giving up 37hp DE engines in older models and even more to HR engines in newer Z's so it dont surprise me really. Overal quality the r32 is much better car though especialy inside which is why i'm sellin my z and getting one.
