@rhoads56....Yep, fair call....but just watching the video without any back ground info, it looks like a sales pitch, and why not. Although the band use brand X, I'd want to know what endorsement deal they have, paid or just free instruments in return for brand advertising. Is it a contract based on time limit, i.e "by signing here you agree to use and advertise our instruments for a period of 2 years"..etcetc.....or can the agreement be terminated by either party at anytime for any reason.

...from a business perspective, totally the wrong environment to do this. 'Guy's, we have a couple of guitars we'd love to bring down and show you, multiscale etc...you let us know when a good time to show you these would be, when we can talk and we can plug a few guitars in and you can have a play" I see a great deal of time,effort and skill being put to use to make these fine instruments, the same amount of time should be put into marketing and demo'ing them the right way to achieve sales.

Considering, they have a paid endorsement, and we decided only a half hour before we got there that we'd go show them some guitars, I reckon we did well. Totally not about sales at all, more about meeting some guys who use eights as their tools of the trade, and how ours compare to those. You have to remember, this all happened prior to the first "production" eight string arriving in Australia.

When a band is being paid to use a particular brand, they arent going to be interested in seeing something they cant have/use, if it's organised through their manager. Been there, done that "hey boys, we know you are paid to use brand XXX, but you wanna see some wierd thing these locals put together, in two months when you get to some town called Perth?"

What you dont see, is the other 20 minutes of footage we cant put up, because it would upset their current guitar supplier :)
