ha! hey, seeing those faces wasn't so easy! I worked in a Hastings record store at the time, it dawned on me what they were, and with some ingenious art showed the rest of the world what the digital image was. Won a National design contest for it too.

@crimchessie I know, the first time I saw the cover when I was like 9yo I was like "huh, those numbers are scary", at 15yo I was like "it still looks pretty sweet, but I wonder what does it mean...", and around 2005 (23yo) I looked at it again very closely and I was like "....Ooooh!".

Look when everything is coloured in. The one on the right is Stewart, the one in the middle is Sting and the one on the left is Andy. The blue segments are their eyes, the red segments are their mouths and the peachy bits are the outlines of their faces. Don't worry, when I saw it for the first time I kept thinking of the band in profile. Hope that helps :)
