  • Hi Teresa.. Thank u for a beautiful design.. If I wanted to make it larger wud I just add a row of increase after row 4 like row 3??

  • @nskkhan The increases will be made the same and previous increases.

  • tjw, I want to respond to, need more hours in the day. Thank your son from all of us who watch and correspond to your videos, for his service. I pray he gets his R&R, and will be home for the holidays with his family. Although he has to return to somewhere else in this world, I pray he stays safe.

  • @dancinggirl75 Thank you. He got back for good a couple weeks ago and will visit again soon. I am lucky this year to get him to visit twice. It had been 5 years since I had seen him. Sadly my younger son will deploy early in 2012. It is very stressful having anyone you care about deployed to a war zone. I fully understand the wide range of emotions that any mother/father, spouse and child will experience having been a military spouse for 16 years as well.

  • @tjw1963 Just read this thread and I see that it is from 2 mo.ago. My heart goes out to you for your son. My husband returned in March from his latest which was his 4th deployment. I am thankful to have him home now. I will say a prayer for the safety of your son.

Thanks again as always for these tutorials; I am currently working this one for the second time and attempting it in a larger size with additional increases. Hopefully it turns out.

  • Hi Teresa, Where can I find the written pattern for this pretty little hat? You still write them out for us, don't you? Some of us need them as well as the video; also need them while crocheting in the car or other places. Thank you for your help. You are priceless to us.

  • @genevalou It will be posted when I have time to catch up. It has been a busy year with one son graduating basic training, my second son visiting on R&R from Afghanistan along with other commitments. I have been working on and seeking volunteers for captioning since there is a big demand for that as well. Not enough hours in the day.

  • @tjw1963 Thank you for your quick reply. You are amazing to have accomplished all that you have done and are doing for the world of crochet. God bless you and your family.

  • Hey Teresa, i'm enjoying this new pattern (well, new to me)!!! Thanks for sharing this ptrn w/us. any idea how to do this stitch in a decrease? Another thing, I was looking on YouTube on how to attach a pompom and you were there, i'm so grateful. Thanks sooooo much for sharing your amazing creations!!!!

  • im going to try this i hope it does well for my niece for christmas

  • I love your videos, thank you for making them! do you have a video for an easy baby bonnet? I have been searching for days and cant seem to find anything. I found some vintage bonnet patterns, gave it a try, but im pretty much lost without your videos.

  • I crocheted this project right along with you, the instructions were very easy to follow. Thank you so much BUT I clearly did something wrong :( I used the same size hook as you, so I'm so confused because my hat look more like a coaster and is not taking the shape of a hat. It's also very wavy? Where did I go wrong?

  • So if we need a bigger size we have to do more rounds like 4?

  • I am a little confused....you keep saying double crochets but it looks like you're really working half double crochets?? Please clarify! Thanks~

  • @blueydleprechaun They are double crochet

  • I have completed this project, used a larger hook, as my daughters head is bit big. Thanks for your instructions. You are my lifeline in corcheting.

  • @krishnavinita You are welcome, I appreciate the comment.

  • where can i get the written pattern from? thank you i love all your videos thanks to you i know how to crochet :))

  • @M3AYALA It will take more increase rounds for an adult version.

  • Is there a written pattern somewhere?

  • Can you do a tutorial of a fish?

  • Is this pattern printed out?

  • I love all your caps! Have made quite a lot of them, it's so esay to follow your instructions on your videos. Thank you!

  • You have a very good voice that I find calming and reassuring. Also, you enunciate well and explain what you are doing and why while demonstrating each stitch type and pattern change. To add to that, I really appreciate that I can adjust the volume (I'm a little hard of hearing) on your videos which is not always the case on these Youtube videos. As an aside, you have very lovely hands (to go with that voice) and immaculate nails. A gold star to you. I subscribe and "Like" you. God Bless.

  • @daisy3690 Thank you for the generous comment! I appreciate your kind words! Thank you!

  • I did a double take on the title and am really confused, why is the Okefenokee in the title? Lol! The swamp is basically in my back yard.

  • @StaciMarie333 I name the caps or I would have 50 hats called crochet hat

  • @tjw1963 Hahaha I see, did not think that one through XD

  • I can't wait to make this this weekend...it will b for my baby when she comes home I'm due in dec so it will b really warm for her head. Thanks for sharing.

  • does the hat turn in in its own or do you have to curve it in?

  • @gomeza5129 The hat starts to take shape once you stop increasing

  • @tjw1963 well thanks so much
