Even if they weren't being chained and beaten, a circus is just no place for an animal that needs stimulation and space to roam. Being cramped in hot cars with no time to be in a natural habitat must be stressful on their bodies and minds. The shows are entertaining, but they're abuse, whether they mean it that way or not. They said that PETA was distorting the facts by showing photos that were taken out of context. I replied that I never even saw the photos on PETA's website but it was the Washington Post that alerted me to the photos. I also said that the photos spoke for themselves.
