@sarahthemacful We would transfer the money already spent on Whitstable to the new council for local residents to decide how it should be spent. Control of the harbour - beach huts etc that raise income would bring that money into Whitstable. You would decide how you local tax is spent.
Currently 9 cllrs (the city council executive) decide everything for Whitstable. 3 live in villages south of Canterbury. 3 are in Herne Bay. 1 is from Canterbury. 1 from FOLKESTONE. Only 1 lives in Whitstable
