Pop = Popular music. Be it country, hip hop, r&b, Bubblegum, deva shit....its ALL pop if its on the radio for the most part. Queens definitely is not Pop by this definition, but compared to early kyuss stuff, I could see how some may consider QOTSA to have a "popier" sound, but they most definitely are NOT pop.
