@sharamandarata you're kinda correct, but the percentages within Lebanon tend to be about half half, that's if you consider all parts of christianity (orthodox, marounite, catholic, ...) and if you consider all parts of islam as the government sees (sunni, shiite, dorzi, ...)

They say accents and dialects are created by children and youths coming together and creating a shared identity away from the background of their parents. When I was young, I grew up in a Lebanese Australian community and adopted their accent of English, I thought it was the standard in this society. It wasn't until I moved to live around an anglo-Australian community that I realised how different I spoke, so I also adopted this version. I rekcen it goes back to community influences and the effect of being able to speak two languages at once.
