  • Lmao if I seen u I would so buy u a beer man, no worries!

  • IM LEB AND IM FROM AUBURN!!!!

  • This is actually a very good point... To the people who are getting offended, relax guys, its just a question. Before anyone judges me as well I do have Arabic background.

  • I know you dont have a leb name and arent dark but i get a leb vibe from you coz i know some lebs in melbourne who are fair haired with light coloured eyes that come from a different region of lebanon where they are fairer. By the way you turn me on.

  • AHHAHAHAHA THIS IS SO TRUE!! EVEN THE ONES WHO LIVE IN LEBANON SOUNDS LIKE THAT! Just with a less Australian accent. Btw I'm Lebanese.

  • @jegveddetik no they dont, 'real' lebanese people dont sound like that, they're accent is so broken you cant even distinguish its english. I was raised up in lebanon, and i know what im talking about. and I agree with the vid, this aussie leb accent is retarded, and i often wondered myself where it originated from, cz it has nothing to do with lebs in lebanon!

  • Lol, the world laughs at the Aussie accent and the Aussies laugh at the Lebanese accent. Also, when you say Lebanese people, that's wrong. It's Aussie/Lebanese people. Lebanese in most other countries are smart and educated.

  • @DMJaber I totally agree with u! unfortunately, lebanese people in this country (not all, but most) decided to gang up n do shit all, just live off others. that is unfortunate. where as lebs in lebanon (again, not all) are now thinking about their future and actually going to uni and some even go further than that.

  • @DMJaber Yes most Lebanese worldwide speak with a Beautiful Arabic/French Accent when speaking English. Sydney young Lebs that speak like this are usually Dum Fucks that didnt get taught any grammar or pronunciation at school, if they did attend at all. I know some Leb kids that speak classy English but many are the result of a Lazy Arabic accent blending with English. I speak two languages and studied another and know that each language must be spoken independently. Lazy ArabicMonotone

  • @megaussie hahahaha good 1

  • I do think that you have nained the accent... i am not so sure where it is originated from, BUT i can tell you that Turkish/Australians have a VERY SIMILAR accent to Lebanese/Australians'....

  • A mate and I called out a pack of these 'fully sick muztek lebos' at this go karting joint a while back about this accent. Their response was, " 'cause we're ethnic bro"

Strangely enough, both my mate and I are both 100% ethnic (European), but neither of speak like brain-dead idiots.

My conclusion is, why do these 'mad cunts' do anything? Why talk like that? Why have the fucking gayest haircuts around? Why wear your hat so vertically that it's scratching God's feet? Why not wear deodorant?

  • Yes proper Lebanese that speak English are usually well educated and have a Arabic/French accent its beautiful, slightly different for Eygptians but just as sweet. THe so called Lebanese u speak of are different. These are the Lebanese the Lebanese in Lebenon reject! In Lebanon the Lebanese sell everything to educate their kids. Here as you see a bad education not paying attention in class a mixture of western suburb mutations has led to a dumbing down of what was classy. Bad Unsafe Drivers 2!

  • @megaussie well i am Lebanese, and i can tell that what you said is completely right..thanks for not being racist as all Australians being racist on Lebanese people,by calling them Lebo thugs or cunts or etc...

  • @sharamandarata You sound like a nice person. I do lose my cool sometimes though when I hear lies and religious propaganda. Peace!:)

  • @megaussie thanks man,i appreciate and respect people like you, that are not brainwashed by western propaganda

  • @sharamandarata You are welcome, its Moslems like you that are a good example to Australia, i am sorry I am not always polite to Moslems on YouTube, I do get into some heated debates but at the end of the day have some very very good experiences with Moslems that are moderate and law abiding as in your case well educated and polite, thank you :) Peace God Bless You.

  • @megaussie dude i am a religious and devoted christian -_- ....Lebanese are not only muslims..45% of Lebanese living in Lebanon are Christians, and 78% of all 22 million Lebanese all around the world are Christians...but the thing is that the act of a person doesn't depend on his nationality nor religion..you have dick-headed christians as you have dick-headed muslims.. Islam is a religion just like Christianity nothing more nothing less.but any way thanks :D may God bless you too

  • @sharamandarata Yes when the CHRISTIAN majority ruled Lebanon it was the Riviera of the Middle East! JESUS CHRIST is my LORD, all that come after him are false. Peace!!

  • Comment removed

  • @sharamandarata you're kinda correct, but the percentages within Lebanon tend to be about half half, that's if you consider all parts of christianity (orthodox, marounite, catholic, ...) and if you consider all parts of islam as the government sees (sunni, shiite, dorzi, ...)

  • @MathDestruction but I do agree with the overall gist!

  • @MathDestruction well the number of Lebanese Christians in Lebanon is decreasing year by year..the previous elections 41.5% of voters in Lebanon where Christians..but we can't know exactly the real percentage that's because its a very sensitive issue here, their isn't an official demographic statistics since 1932...are you Lebanese descendant?

  • @megaussie :-)

  • @MathDestruction Sik! Lol

  • in my country indonesia, the youth used this "bro" accent all the time even though were not talking in english... yeaaa its true.. i wonder from where this accent came from? i think its more like gang thingy

  • Why do aussies speak like bogans? Dude, you're stereotyping!

  • @MLSD69 not all Aussies speak like bogans... and as i stated in this video.. not all 'lebanese' talk like this.. and who gives a damn if i'm stereotyping... these stereotypes exist. We are all a stereotype to some degree... so who cares?

Thanks for watching and commenting by the way!

  • I was born in australia and I'm quarter Lebanese

  • Yeah turks and lebanese and chinese have their own distinct Aussie accents. I found that odd when I moved here. In the US you either sound complete where your from or completely American. There isn't much in between. Also to me the non white aussies sound more stereotypical Australian than the white Australians I found that funny.

  • DOGGGIEESS BRO!!!!

  • I think you raise a really important question and I think it is being ignored by linguists. They say accents and dialects are created by children and youths coming together and creating a shared identity away from the background of their parents. That's probably why you hear Asians speaking the same way, it probably developed in the school yard and on the streets in places with large 1st gen migrant communities. I think it fully sick mate

  • @araveug1917 a lot of the asians that i know developed that accent off of a youtuber called 'mychonny', it's pretty hilarious to hear them speaking with that accent.

  • FUCK YOU

  • I know exactly why the accent is the way it is but I'd have to write you an essay which would go back to the social and economic situation of Lebanon at around the same time the white Australia policy was abolished in Australia..... Everything will make sense. Or, another response to that whole question could be 'why be a dick head for but, go look at yourself in da mirror you drop kick. I'll put your head froo a window'

  • if you speak arabic how ur accent would be like ,, oh you dont know a damn word in arabic ,.. stop judging people pierced head

  • @jadsoueidi1 buddy.. i'm not judging people.. i'm asking where it came from. Can you provide me with an answer please?

also.. i do know words in Arabic. Predominately cursing as I went to school with a LOT of Lebanese/Australians.

  • @Figgamortis good am sure you know what this means .. hel aan aire

  • u look stoooooooooooooooned mate hahahha

  • @sultanz66 haha... yeah funny that... i don't smoke.... anything.

  • lol cous

  • its so true LOL

  • Lee Munro,

The accent has derived from a genetic disorder. Unfortunately, I rather watch more of your videos than indulge into the scientific reasoning behind the accent.

    Take Care.

  • That “accent” just comes out when I’m trying to emphasise something or when im really mad..otherwise my English is top notch just like you if not better ;). I think it has a lot to do with the fact that we’re bilingual and we code-cross between languages..the heaviness and depth of the Arabic language has a lot of expression – which is evident when we speak English. lebs who were privileged with a good education are capable of hindering this accent better than lebs who didn’t receive a good Ed

  • @urburning

I think this is a great explanation! :)

  • alright ill tell you how i made the accent i was pumping your mum then suddenly it came to mee

  • You nailed that accent

  • I can switch between the broad & Lebanese Australian accents. When I was young, I grew up in a Lebanese Australian community and adopted their accent of English, I thought it was the standard in this society. It wasn't until I moved to live around an anglo-Australian community that I realised how different I spoke, so I also adopted this version. I rekcen it goes back to community influences and the effect of being able to speak two languages at once.

  • yeah I notice some asian australian speak like that too, but not as deep as the lebanese. All i can say is, the accent is annoying as hell =), and make me very uncomfortable, especially if they say fuck every 2 seconds.

  • You're really good at that accent :))

  • im lebaneses :)

  • I told my mates everytime I start tallking like this punch me hard in the arm so I remember not to talk like this.

  • I hate the swearing and bravado though

  • alright I'm a Leb here from Melbourne and I switch off and on between this accent but it comes out accidentally. I've been told I sound "Aussie" as well as "fully sick Lebo" hahaha. The thing is sometimes in Arabic we say things a certain way and then when we go to speak in English, that same tone comes out. That heaviness and depth comes out when we're talking English. Most of it is exaggerated anyway and an identity thing I'll admit that. Where it came from? no idea.

  • @pawsnclaws100

And i am a fan of this theory! :D

  • It's like the New York accent. Where did it originate? New York. Who invented it? Italians and Jews. Even some of the white Americans who live in NY seem to talk with that accent and it doesn't suit them.

I think, in the future, if we get more Lebs/Middle Easterners, that accent will be the 2nd most popular after that Bogan one, and will be an official Aussie accent, just like how the NY accent is an official American accent. I hope not, cos it's annoying, like the NY accent. :(

  • @LisaSpringfield i am a fan of this theory.

  • @LisaSpringfield The Lebanese accent sounds incredibly uneducated. Maybe unconsciously the younger Lebs in Australia don't truly want to conform to mainstream society and their unique accent is an extension of this. They definitely "put it on" to a degree which tells everyone they are Lebanese. They sound retarded when they speak, or at best very slow. Also, their sentence structures are incredibly simplistic, I give them 2/10 for grammar, vocabulary and accent.

  • @LisaSpringfield I prefer the slow american south accent. They should all talk like that... Where did that accent come from?

  • Hello from Bankstown bro! hahaha. I am half Leb, grew up with Lebs, have a MASSIVE Lebanese/Muslim family and grew up with hectic cousins and i STILL dont have that accent, i'm sorry to say i feel that accept is simply "an act". I think it is "played up" another thing Lebs have done to give themselves a false sense of identity, i wish we put our minds to something better than a hectic accent haha but you do it VERY well. Peace out.

  • @ramio1983 yeah bro.. i'm from Bankstown.. and yeah it's definately put on. haha.

  • watching too much Fat Pizza, lol

  • Lebanese people speak with that accent because they're real men... not sissy Aussies! LOL

  • Lol I'm Lebanese and I'm wondering the same thing. I'm surrounded by these guys. I sometimes very rarely talk like this accidently... Lol...

  • Fuck knows where.. I'm half Leb, Half Kiwi.. I've been wondering the same thing.. Lebanese peepz dont talk like that.. Exactly. It doesnt even sound good. Just dumb as fuck. If thats how u gotta talk then good luck...

  • Broooooo, are you serious bro! Oh my gosh, I HATE IT! But I'm curious about that also. You'd think if this was a "cultural" thing, someone in my family (and considering i'm italian and lebanese) would speak like this, but thankfully they don't.

To me, people who talk like that make me want to smack them in the mouth, something hard.

  • hahah jewish..
