I actually was once playing a round of cp_orange_x3, and a scout ran out from around a corner at me. I was surprised, so I hit M2 by accident. I killed him. Upon looking at the killicon, and behind me, I discovered I deflected a Sniper's missed shot right into his teammate.

Felt good man.

Reflection is most commonly associated with bending the path of light,heat,magnetic fields and other types of energy whereas deflection concerns physical objects.

@flyboy248 hey bud. It's a remake of one of the team fortress classic maps called warpath. I know one of the XA servers plays it a lot, but they got tired of it, so it might not be up anymore... just keep an eye out for warpath on a server search

Yeah i did this of turbine, except when i did it, it was a headshot!

So whenever the stats come up its says: most headshots: 1 (Pyro)

I love doing things like this. Long range is fun, too; I once killed an enemy pyro with two consecutive arrow reflects. I'm not sure whether he hated me or his sniper more.

The backburner is completly valid. It was made for the traditional ambush style of the Pyro. Imo, it takes MORE skill to use the backburner effectively then the old flamethrower.

@EdenMaster the backburner needs to be scrapped. Or at least severely updated, Valve needs to learn that if you give a wep with the ability to get 100% crits, it dosnt get MORE dmg. Plus I cant believe they gave it back the airblast, now the noobs who use it can say that they aren't noobs because of a function that they never use...

@1For3The3Win7 Well it they can only do so many airblasts with its increased airblast cost. And besides, getting behind people is tough on a lot of maps, like cp_dustbowl, or most control point maps for that matter.

@CollateralMuse Well, then you get those annoying pyros who are allways like 5 feet from a dispenser, plus, my theory is that the reason why certain weapons piss people off is the nuber of people they are designed to kill at once. FaN normally only gets 1-2 kills per rush, but almost always gets 1, so it pisses off the one.

@1For3The3Win7 Whereas the scattergun gets around 1-4 so its much more spread around, and not all at once (the person has time to react) The backburner kills like one person with a rush then itsntantly dies because of the no range.

After watching this I went and played a game of KOTH Sawmill. The enemy team had a skilled huntsman sniper that happened to be using the same side path around as me. I did exactly this except I lit the arrow on fire as it turned around and sped back at him then snapped him out of the air with a shotgun shell.

All thanks to the fact that slowing the video down showed me exactly when to airblast. Thank you.

It was a round of Turbine, i was spying as always, being fully cloaked, suddenly, a friendly sniper decides to aim at a pretty epic enemy pyro with the huntsman. You can propably guess what happened next...
