I live in Prairieville and we lost most the shingles off our roof and 2 of our pine trees were snapped and the other 4 pine trees were uprooted. Only 1 tree was left standing.
our city had more damage than new orleans and the cities of Pinevillle and Alexandria were declared disaister areas and we live 2 hours north of batonrouge
Great documentation of Gustav. I didn't get to experience the effects very much; I was in the middle of a 12-hour shift down at the State EOC. Although your apartment complex sustained damage, I hope your apartment didn't sustain any damage.

I was really lucky! I lost a few shingles but other than that, no damage to my place at all.
