  • Good thing we have Obama. Finally, a rational leader to begin reversing the "republicon" regressive policies! Too bad those jackasses got us into a needless war costing the lives of hundreds of thousands. Kerry and Gore were by far the better choices. Are any of you fools that voted for bush/cheney feeling some responsibility for the pointless death and destruction? Or, are you just another puppet waving your crusade flag?

  • Funny what short memories people have isn't it. Already buying into the media spin, after all the lies to get us in a costly war in both blood & treasure. If one has any empathy, and most including Christians aren't all that spiritual to have, think of those without water, homes, spouses, fathers, due to an illegal invasion upon a sovereign land built on lies. Most voted for the "Cons" twice and still cannot admit to fact they brought it upon us. Pay you jerks!

  • Neocons intentions cannot be disguised either, and I consider the present at least slightly better at openness than the later, who rubberstamped all Bush proposals

  • NO MORE RINOS.

    RON PAUL 2012

  • all you liberal democrats this must be painful for you to watch

  • We need to clean out the House & Senate. End "Career Politicians" with term limits. End big government. Why would anyone want to have their life dictated by bureaucrats ? Freedom is what has made this country great. I do not understand why so many Americans are willing to walk away from their constitutional rights that were bought & paid for by the sacrifices of those that went before us.

  • As a democrat and a liberal, I agree 100%

  • If our Founding Fathers wanted term limits, they would have put it in our Constitution. If you don't like an incumbent, vote him out of office.

  • The Founding Fathers never imagined that elected officials would abuse the system in every imaginable way. Their ridiculous list of Perks includes full salary for a lifeitme..They are a bunch of self indulged, greedy crooks. That is not what this country was intended to be & just voting them out will not work. There is too much voter fraud & too many uninformed voters that will only follow party lines One term should be sufficient then, maybe they will remember who the represent & why.

  • Of course the Founding Fathers envisioned that politicians would be corrupt. They had just broke free from an extremely corrupt government, and took great pains to try and make America as uncorrupt as possible, but of course they knew we would have corruption.

Stop complaining about uninformed voters and parties and voter fraud. On election day Americans choose to send the same people back to DC. If you don't like it, vote them out.

  • BTW, an elected official is basically the member of the board of directors for the largest company in the history of the world. Considering the amount of money that passes over their desk, they are underpaid -if you were judging by market values.

We don't need additional government rules telling us who we can and can not vote for. If I like my congressman, I will vote for him again. Also, I didn't hear to much about term limits when the Republicans were in power.

  • True conservatives have always encouraged term limits. Your arguments are devoid of logic and are based on the same old talking points that have encouraged the massive government that we are now forced to deal with. Personally, I want my children to live in a free country and not have every aspect of their lives controlled by government mandates. Perhaps, it is best if we just agree to disagree, there are always some who want the government to rule over them.

  • I base my beliefs off our Constitution and our Founding Fathers. Neither which advocates for term limits.

I am 17 year olds, a child who wants to live in a free country for my entire life. I have every right to be pissed at your generation for screwing me with debt, and I am.

But term limits are not the solution. If you want to advocate for term limits first of all it must be done via Constitutional Amendment. If the Constitution is amended, im fine with that. I'd vote against it though.

  • If you advocate term limits with out a Constitutional Amendment, you are the problem. We need to respect the Constitution, something not done at all today.

I agree with you, I don't want to live under government mandates. BUT A TERM LIMIT IS A GOVERNMENT MANDATE. IS A MANDATE FOR WHO I CAN AND WHO I CAN NOT VOTE FOR. The true term limit comes at the ballot box every 2 or 6 years. Take advantage of it. Mobilize your area to vote out the 9th term incumbents.

  • Unfortunately, this is not high school debate team. The issues are much more complex than your simplistic idealogy. But I do respect the fact that you are learning about how our government works and thinking about your future. Your perspective will change as you mature & experience the pressures of life. Try to broaden your mind to consider that you can learn from other people's opinions. Our world views are based on life experiences & you have not had an abundance of those experiences yet.

  • Belief in our founding fathers is no simplistic ideology. I learn from other people. Ludwig von Mises, Frederick Hayek, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, ect... These guys are my teachers, not someone who doesn't address the issues.

    A) Term limits are unconstitutional

    B) If the founders wanted them, they would have put them in the Constitution.

    C) Term limits represent government telling me who I can or can not vote for.

    D) The real term limit is at the ballot box.

  • beno: The founded system worked without term limits because the compensation for govenment service was a pittance. Providing for one's posterity needed to be done in the private sector.

You are right that it should be done by Amendment.

  • We might just have to disagree to disagree on this one. I'm glad you agree that it must be done via Constitutional Amendment. But I still believe that a mandatory term limit takes away my power to vote for the person I want to represent me. I still believe the true term limit is election day.

But although I am a far far right Conservative, I don't think the country is anywhere as near the right as we want it to be. Conservatives are just the informed voters, so they're the ones makn outrage

  • beno: We may not have to disagree because I still waffle on the issue. I see the merit in the Libertarian position of not limiting one's ability to vote for any candidate, no matter how entrenched.

But the system is broken and something needs to be done.

I personally like the idea of $75,000/year salary with no expense account. Live in a dormitory and eat in the dormitory cafeteria. No franking priveleges and no international junkets. No retirement benfits and no special medical care.

  • beno: Very valid points.

  • beno: Representatives and Senators should be public SERVANTS, not highly paid lords. It should be a sacrifice for the successful to take time from their life to "donate" expertise, not a treasure hunt for the incompetent wanting a career

In 1994, the Contract with America listed term limits. And you are right that it got nowhere in a Rep controlled House

No simple answer to the term limit biz. But with such a large bureaucracy, all are affected by Representatives outside their district

  • Some interesting comments on here. ANYONE who thinks a career politician is working to help you Has a short term memory issue.

All Politician have an agenda. IF you agree with them you're ok and May get something out of it, sometime LATER down the road. if you don't, you're a bad guy.

Any Americans here? I thought we are all Americans in this country.

Willfull Ignorance is not a virtue. Pay attention to what they ALL are doing.

  • i will no longer support any prostitician who does not support

auditing the "federal" reserve. the international banking cartel owners are the greatest criminals in the history of the United States. both parties are a disgrace regarding this issue, although i see that many republicans are growing the cajones to address this. watch:

"fall of the republic the presidency of barack h obama"

audit the fed before there is nothing left to audit

    23 TRILLION is "missing?"

    W T F ???

  • Thank you to all Democrats for coming here, I think you need to hear the truth. God bless you!

  • Republicans locked Democrats out during the Iraq War preparations, but the Republicans will conveniently forget that.

Despite being full-on destructive retards, conservatives have somehow convinced themselves that they are our Country's only saviors.

To them, the whole country belongs to them, because the rest of us aren't "real Americans."

They still perpetuate the silent majority myth, despite being an obnoxiously loud and rapidly shrinking minority.

  • People with closed minds and who choose to categorize and group people are being shamefully ignorant. That's what this clip did and that's what you did.

We can go to the past and blame the republicans (and there's a lot of blame to go around) but we need to focus on the now. Slinging isn't going to make America better. Right now there's an issue and we need to fix it so we can be better off in the future.

Pointing fingers only helps a tortured mind cope through what we let happen.

  • Well said @ DivinityBleu

  • @DivinityBleu. Well said on the issue about being fed up with both parties.

  • If we are so fed up with both parties, why did we have one of the largest voter turnouts in recent years for candidates off the two major political parties. I love the tea parties and I agree the R's got way out of line, but we conservatives can't say that we speak for all the We The People. We the People elected BO not cause he was the lesser of two evils but because he was going to pay their mortage or so they thought.

  • The turnout was due to people enamored of a "leader" who had an upbeat vision for America. Many now seethat a VERY vague call to "change" is in fact a nightmare, and are having buyer's remorse.

There has't been a significant difference betwixt Rep and Dem pres.candidates since 1984, and the same in the House of Reps since Gingerich left.

Reps are poor salespeople and teachers. They also avoid the successful Reagan formula for capturing the center, instead opting to be clones of the Dems

  • I never saw Bush or his adinistraion declare war on a news outlet. Bush's team weren't a bunch of cry babies. Bush didn't whine about inheretting a bad economy in 2001 from Clinton. Bush never tried to force lobbyist inspired health care reform. Bush enver tried to push cap and trade. Bush never hired Mao, Stalinist into the White House. Bush never restricted media access, or personally attacked peoples reputations or ridicule them for their opinions. Obama is a thug thin skinned coward.

  • sorry about the spelling, I forgot to proof it before posting it.

  • @ DivinityBleu, Um, please give specific details and mind you the Patriot Act was ratified twice by Democrats. I didn't see the Bush Administration seize banks then refuse to allow them to pay back TAPR. I didn't see Bush or the republicans demand that peple turn in other people via FLAG@whitehouse. I didn't see Bush or the Republicans calling American protesters nazi, astroturf, brown coats and ridicule their efforts like the Obama and the Dems. And what that transparency that Obama promised?

  • I wonder when the Obama admin and supporters are going to stop blaming his own failure and stupidity on the Bush admin.. Bush hasn't been president now for what? 9 months and yet everything is still his fault.. I bet you in 3 yrs we're still going to be falling backwards and people will still be blaming Bush instead of accepting Obama as a failure

  • Just 1 example of the many lies that personafies THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION!

  • OK THAT WAS RETARDED

  • A perfect example of what transparency actually means to the liberal democrats in Congress. Obama's lies are coming home to roost but the MSM just ignores them and blames Bush. This is why so man Americans voted for hope and change, and the change they got was hopelessness. Thank you Obama. You are the most worthless, truth bending, bold faced liar to come down the donkey path since Carter. Heres an idea, keep some of those transparency promises for a change. And fire Rahm, and resign!

  • The democratic party has turned into the party of lies. They can no longer be trusted to do the right thing.

And if the Republican party doesn't want a reputation that the Democrats have been subjected to, they better transform themselves into something that favors the people and not just business. I'm giving the Republicans one more chance. If they let us down, then I think it's time for a 3rd party to govern.

  • Man I am glad these idiots only represent 20% of the voting population.

  • Much Better Ad... FINALLY.

Content's good, but the Graphics need work. Who's approving these? The Tapper question should've been cut or added Before the tape at the end.

    Keep 'em comin'.

  • The GOP is going to learn it's too late for attack ads. The next vote for truly conservative people is with their feet.

  • The G.O.P. will never be back in power untl they stop pandering to moderates and begin to understand that conservatives make up the majority of the party. Newt just endorsed a liberal republican over a conservative one.

  • Thats what kinda change we voted for?

  • George Bush did 9/11!

    lawlawlawlaw conspiracy theories lawlaworlaorloroflroflrlalol!!!1!!!!1one!1!!111

  • good point. You are absolutely right. What is your point.

  • Does anyone know how many Lies Obama has told? I stop counting a long time ago.

  • FUCK YOU

  • wow just ... wow

  • you republicans are repulsively shameless that you resort to twisting facts and truths so that the previous monkey of a president would look good.

  • I think obamacorn twisting facts and truths is repulsively shameless when he ran on transparency!

  • As a conservative I would love to see improvements in healthcare. I just don't see how putting govt in control acheives this. They have a long track record of screwing things up.

Why not expand the HSA program that is built on American self reliance and capitalism. You stay healthy you get to keep your savings.

I honestly think Obama doesn't have a grasp on American culture and history. Whether it is because of his Kenyan heritage or because he had such a sheltered life in Hawaii.

  • @MaHaRushie Believe it or not, Progressives do not think the president went far enough on healthcare reform. Mr. Obama is Kamehameha.

  • @SocialistIntrovert Oh I know. That's why I think "Progressive" is a misnomer. They want to make the USA a socialist state that has been tried years ago and failed miserably. its not exactly a new concept.

I could never be a progressive, I love freedom too much. If anything I think I am the opposite of progressivism maybe a libertarian.

  • @MaHaRushie If you get sick you get screwed.

  • @Charlie12241 HSA??? No if you get sick your covered. Learn the facts my friend.

  • @MaHaRushie You said "you stay healthy you keep your savings" so if you are sick you loose it.

  • @Charlie12241 No if your sick insurance kicks in and you can use your savings to pay for the deductible. And you can use your savings to get additional care that is not covered under insurance.

  • I make less than 500k per year and I am a Republican. Do you know why? because i believe in freedom. Something democrats know nothing about anymore.

I feel that the Republicans are the ONLY party defending the poor from a complete takeover of their lives. You really need to get a grip on whats happening before its too late.

  • Laughable. They are every bit as complicit in expanding government as the Democrats. A complete destruction of the current US system is the only hope capitalism has. At the very least the US must split up peacefully, at worst we need civil war.

  • I agree. I think we may need to hit rock bottom before the stupid ones realize it though.

  • Repuglicans led this economy to ruin and did nothing about health care. Now, they want us to believe that they're going to help us?

  • You act as if the Democrats have a good healthcare plan. The plan is shit. I'd rather see no change than a shitty change.

  • republican fail

  • I guess I don't understand this video since there is no difference between the Democrats and Republicans. Both are parties of collectivism and socialism. In fact if anyone out there truly believes in capitalism you should be quitting your job, immediately stop paying all taxes and get on every government program you can. The only way to save capitalism is to stop participating in your own destruction and crash the system.

  • Those of you who don't agree with this video are unbelievably ignorant about what is going on in this country. But, you are probably also the ones who are not working, and looking forward to the extended unemployment benefits. On WIC, too, right? Want everyone to pay for everything for you, right? Like Mao Tse Tung? Get ready, you idiots.

  • What do you mean?...Someone actually has to pay for free health care?

  • Lying comes naturally to them...they seem so comfortable distorting the truth even when they are confronted with their own hypocritical words & statement from the past.

  • yea. democrats suck. you were talking about dems right?

  • Republicans need to go hide their heads in the sand-- two words pertaining to the Republicans that says it ALL: George W. Bush and Dick Chenney-- UNEMPLOYMENT, RECESSION, FORECLOSURE-- Gasoline $4 per gallon so dont be fucking idiots!

  • check your facts. Unemployment was lower during the Bush years than during the Clinton years.

if you believe what the dems are telling you then i feel sorry for you.

  • If we have to stress sooooooo much about Obama's policies, isn't that an ALARM in itself that something is deeply flawed in them? He's not as American as we were promised. Not my idea of a loyal American. Yet he insults and degrades any one who disagrees with him.

  • I strongly disagree with this video. They say health care costs will rise, taxes will rise, and government officials will prevent you from getting health care, but I disagree with that.

  • The arrogance of the democratic leadership to think that they are smarter than the majority of Americans, and to try and craft an important health care bill in secret is appalling to say the least.

  • A majority of Americans belong to one or the other of the major parties and believe that their party is somehow moral or better than the other, so quite frankly, I damn well know that I'm smarter than the majority of Americans. Voting for Republicans is no different that voting for a Democrat and only an imbecile believes there is a difference.

  • the majority are independent.

  • Yes we need to make a pact to vote every last one of them out. Dem and Rep.

  • I'm sorry but I will never vote again unless it is to split from the US. I want no part of a system that gives every person a say in how the country is run simply because they were born a citizen. Those who produce rightly deserve more more of a say than the lazy and stupid who have no stake in the country other than an irrational claim to a portion of everyone else's productive efforts. The concept of an unweighted 1 man 1 vote democracy itself is doomed to failure.

  • You may be right. I think the requirement to own land in order to vote is something that should be revisited.

If you have skin in the game you will not be as irresponsible and clueless as most voters are.

  • i'm one of those special people who love Medicare but hate public healthcare.

  • Comment removed

  • Neither can be trusted because non of this government shit actaually makes any sence to normal people. There professional con artists.

  • It makes sense to the people who know the difference between "there" and "they're"

  • Might want to also spend time in the Social Studies classroom while working on your English... forgot to mention "actaually", "non" and "sence"

  • I believe 100% of this video. Unfortunately, I don't believe the Republicans can be trusted either.

  • Do you want Obama care to pass? Do you not want to take back the House and Senate in 2010?

Do you want this great Country to become a socialist State? Do you want Obama re-elected in 2012? If not then tell me why the RNC can put out ads on youtube and only 3 or 4 hundred people view them.

  • This is BS! One day ago and 234 views? We have laid down in the last quarter and are going to let the liberals pass this health care disaster.

The liberals work together to promote and pass around each others work. This is how a dip like this gets hundreds of thousands of views.

The amazing atheist dip-wad is kicking the Republican party's butt. His message is highly political and is being seen by millions of people

  • Here is the latest RNC video. Lets see if we can come together as a group and get it seen.

Post this video on your site, put it on face book tweet it and send it by email.

  • The CEO's use 29% of premiums just for administration. Medicare uses 2.7%. Canada uses 1.6%.

They are crooks and we all know it. Send them to prison

  • The CEO's arent to blame, its the government who cause Insurance rates to be high.

Do some research instead of regurgitating what you hear from the news.

  • How true this is. The left wing has done exactly what they said they wouldn't do. CORRUPT AND NOW AMERICA SEES IT FINALLY. Bye Harry in 2010 and buh bye Obama in 2012

  • The RNC is no better if they keep pushing RINOs like Dede Scaffazzo, McCain, Lindsey Graham. This is an obsolete party doom to loose until they do what constituents want and not the other way around. ONLY VOTING FOR REAL CONSERVATIVES.

  • GO TO HELL RNC!!!

  • Why do you go first.

  • bush and cheney refused to be interviewed by the 9/11 commission unless they could do it together BEHIND CLOSED DOORS and NOT UNDER OATH

  • trvsgstn cannot defend Obama's lies, so he runs to another topic... you'd think Bush was still president. What a dumbass.

  • I'm not defending lies, I'm just pointing out that there is nothing new here. politicians have always and will always do this and pointing out the fact that democrats talk behind closed doors is just stating that they are no different from republicans

  • Not the point. The POINT is that Obama was lying.

  • okay, but don't you think it's hypocritical of the RNC to be running an attack ad on the Obama administration for doing the same thing they do?

  • The RNC is only the messenger. Thanks for admitting Obama lied.

  • All politicians lie. They lie about almost everything they do. In comparison to some other lies (i.e. lying about reasons for going to war), I don't think this one is that big of a deal. But I guess you have to work with what you have.

  • How convenient for you that you don't think this lie, the one where Obama promised transparency, is a big deal.

You have said nothing surprising. Typical even.

  • So we shouldn't take notice to balant lies or that he promised to "change" that about politics? Wow you're expectations are really low concerning obamacorn.

  • no, i just think its ridiculous to support some liars while not supporting others because they lie. i don't know if obama is actually trying to change anything but it wouldn't make a difference because our representatives have all given into corporate sponsorship and money seems to rule over logic and morals. what is "obamacorn"?

  • lol alittle play on words, they are one and the same in goals, approach, how they get things done..... basically corrupt. I understand what you mean both sides are bought and paid for. One doesn't know who to trust.

  • p.s. why would you give a thumbs down when i'm just stating a fact?

  • TRICK OR TREAT??? TRICKED by the Democrats AGAIN! HEALTH CARE.... Democrats "H.C. is needed NOW"... but... WON'T START until 2016! Democrats "TAXES would come LATER to fund health care"... but... TAXES **START** THIS YEAR! Democrats "H.C. premiums will be $2,500.00 lower".... but.... NOW will be $4,000.00 HIGHER! Democrats "public option will NOT be single payer" but... NOW say "public option KILLS private insurers & LEADS to single payer"!
  • TRICK OR TREAT???

    TRICKED by the Democrats AGAIN!

    ACORN....

Sept 2009 Democrats vote to DE-FUND ACORN....

And... will get that $8,500,000,000.00 stimulus MONEY PROMISED by obama!!!

  • TRICK OR TREAT???

    TRICKED by the Democrats AGAIN!

Democrat Aid EXPOSES NEW DEMOCRAT PLAN to SHOVE health care reform down our throats!!!!

Harry Reid intends to "ATTACH" a health care bill to House Bill HR 1586 (taxes on corporate bonuses) which is ALREADY passed.

    Steny Hoyer (D-Md) also admits....

"I will NOT rule out the House automatically voting on this bill"!

This REMOVES ALL DEBATES and **bypasses discussion** in conference on the Reid health care bill....

  • Haha, both parties are fucked up, u hear? republicans and democrats, two sides are the same coin, the whole system is fucked.

  • Dems minority, no barking at Republicans

Dems Majority, Repubs grind them into the pavement.

    Screw both parties.

  • Typical Republican do nothing for Americans but attack Democrats philosophy. Democrats made over 300,000 calls to Congress today to make there opinions known. They are meeting with their reps and having town halls.

  • Democrats....Where's the transparency NOW dems?...Behind closed doors!

FINES AND PRISON! When did the Universal Health Care go from Accessible to Mandatory...behind closed doors!

    and much more...behind closed doors!!!

Google HR 615... Not one Democrat supports this bill which John Fleming created to force our gov officials on the same Health Care Plan they would force on the rest of us!

REP. JOHN FLEMING (R-LA): "If it's so great for America, why can't Congress be a part of it as well"?

  • 88 House Democrats are co-sponsors of HR 676 the single payer bill.

  • If socialized medicine is so great, why didn't Chris Dodd get his prostate surgery done in Ireland?

    They ALL MUST GO!

    SIC SEMPER TYRANNIS!

    LONG LIVE THE REBELLION!

  • conservatives need to leave the fear mongering up to people doing it best like glenn beck. I'm a middle school science teacher in B-moreCity and can tell you first hand that it's not just old people that the health care crisis concerns, it's kids whose families can't afford to take them to the doctor. Or mothers/fathers that I meet dieing of cancer but can't seem to find treatment. Not bc they're not genuine, honest, hard-working people. Try doing something bigger than yourself one day.

  • I can't stand these F ers in Washington that are forcing their way upon us all!! We need a strong Conservative party again to help the American people throw these people out on their asses! I will not work for the state for the rest of my life!!! I am still young and if I have to leave the USA for a better life I will!!!

  • Olympia Snowe is a liberal hack who needs to do the Republican Party a favor by getting out--a la Arlen Specter.

And back to the transparency/behind closed doors subject--the consummate indignity to begin writing the bill in secret, after having stood up, gazillions of times in front of the American people, saying that there would be bipartisan authoring, availability to the public of the results before voting.....and on and on.

None of this is happening, and we are watching.

  • Uhh Hey Libs remember when Obama said he woul not let the bill go foward unless it was bi partisan? Epic fail!

  • smokdaddy ....i guess when the entire Dim decaying debate club - are UP IN A TREE HOUSE with Obama and Holder and Emmanuel and turbo-tax cheat G-man ....and the ROPES PULLED UP! ~~ that would be EPIC FAIL = bi partisan support......wonder how Olympia Snowpp feels about = now?

  • How can anyone support this administration anymore? The time for change is now! The change to ending obamanation of the American people!

  • Way to go Republicans.

  • Excellent video, it does a great job in calling out Democrats on all their lies, hypocrisy and corruption!

  • rationalnow....what is going on in "secret" Dim woodshed meetings.....???....Obama is a ~ shape-shifter~ ...and he conned many of the people who voted for him .....on his HYPE and TRASPARENCY?.............you see videos of him stating one thing to one group and a month later taking it back?...........how can anyone think this is bringing the country = "together"..........when all he does is DIVIDE off anyone/any group who questions these BILLS EXPENSES! ...let alone what the future costs are!

  • Memama2, Obama's entire campaign was nothing but lies and deception! This incompetent, inexperienced radical fraud has been a disaster for our country! This joke has divided our country more than I've ever seen it before. It's a shame so many ignorant people fell for this fraudulent corrupt B.S.!

  • ...I fear that Obama's ONLY future coup = that he alone can control is the signing of this "Treaty" concerning fake climate conundrums! ........that Obama thinks shows HE ??? is the "more elite" fortune teller than the rest of us and so he will take his giant mistaken hand and sign AMERICA'S FUTURE FREEDOM = ~away forever! We will be bound to stop oil drilling or logging or coal harvest. And be forced to bow before THE NEW WORLD ORDER's GLOBAL RULES! ....then it is a POST=America Obama Kingdom!

  • @rationalnow--the funny thing is.......since all of their words (attempts at deceit, that is to say) are on record-video and otherwise, there is nothing that The Great Charlatan's lemmings can do to hide what they've said and done before. They can't call conservatives liars, when their words and actions are available for all to see and hear. BHO's biggest lie? ------TRANSPARENCY.

  • I don't know, there are so many LIES from Obama and his administration, it's hard to say which is the BIGGEST LIE! But what would really be difficult would be to find ANY truth at all in that fraudulent campaign!

  • ..I watched Chris Wallace take a video of himself talking and asking questions and watched him ask the Liberal sitting across from him -WHY LIE? - about MY past interview and the meaning of it. Then Chris Wallace played the video and aaked the man to his face! Why did you say that? ........and a torent of LiberalEASE foamed out and avoided what the video showed and what the TRUTH WAS! .....it showed a crackpot Liberal Lie "caught on tape".......and the continuing of his lunatic lies = UNREAL

  • "did you have a more pertinent question..." How I cannot stand that press sec.

  • Amendments for tort reform, equalizing the tax code, reducing the cuts to Medicare, etc. None of those amendments have been passed. Why would anyone be against tort reform? But yet the Democrats have refused to entertain the idea. Perhaps you should actually dig into details of what's going on in DC instead of just parroting what the mainstream media is "reporting".

Do you propose Republicans break the doors down and force the Democrats to include them in crafting legislation?

  • what amendments? and how will any of those things you named bring down the rising cost of healthcare? talking point= "parroting what the mainstream media is "reporting". from biggest media outlet a bit ironic. I live in DC and i get to see all the bs 1st hand. I propose republicans act with logic instead of hate for Obama. I propose the gop get itself together and acutally be a party of dissent with ideas rather than just the party of NO. I propose you stop watching fox news and get some sense

  • LOL Over 700 amendments have been proposed by Republicans (many of them technical in nature). What exactly does living in DC have to do with anything? Proximity does not equate to informational overload. Believe it or not, the rest of the country actually gets news about the goings on inside DC. Again, 700+ amendments with the vast majority summarily dismissed by the Democrats in power.

  • 700+ , Really??? I think you need to get your facts right. I dont think getting grayson to apologize counts as an amendment for heatlhcare. Theres a huge difference between actually being in DC and hearing from someone else what happens in DC. if you cant understand that then i pity you.

  • Of the 788 amendments filed, 67 came from Democrats and 721 from Republicans.

Slate did an article about it back in July. Look it up.

  • republicans voted against the stimulus which was suppose to support schools and struggling families ( voted for tarp - hypocrites), vote against health care reform, (only contribution is death panels, socialism and you cant see your doctor), voted against S.Amdt. 2588 (look it up) Whose interest do republicans have in mind?

  • The interest of individual liberty. (But not enough) Government cannot be all things for all people. That was the point behind the founding of our nation. Our Constitution is full of things the government CANNOT do.

You do realize that the majority of Americans are against the proposed health care bills, right? You feel it's okay that the REPRESENTATIVES vote opposite of what their constituents want? No term limits and reps voting against their constituents wishes is nothing more tyranny.

  • Healthcare reform has nothing to do with anything you said. And yes the bacus bill with no public option is unfavorable but majority of Americans favor not oppose. You must be getting your facts from the opinion shows over at fair and unbiased fix news

  • Typical liberal, always moving the target. First you stated the Republicans didn't propose over 700 amendments. I told you where to go to show you were wrong, you responded with something that had NOTHING to do with the original comment. You moved the target. You bring up massive government programs in that reply, when I counter about individual liberty, you move the target again. What are you afraid of? It's okay to be wrong sometimes. That's how we grow as humans and learn to be better.

  • I know that logic and reason are foreign to repubilcans but it doesnt make me liberal. Only person to move the target is the bush admin. in the war in Iraq. You can regurgitate all the talking points you like but the fact is the gop is worthless and doesnt have a leg to stand on. 700 amendments opposing everything and the one amendment to defend a raped woman, republicans didnt sign. I'm afraid of the idiots in power with no idea, no solutions, and the stance taken against policies to help US

  • ....hey ButterflyDragon9 = my local pharmacy B-tech .....told me that all the Medicare patients who sell their drugs(illegally) are allowed to claim EVERY MONTH! .....that they LOST??.........the drugs and no one at the pharmacy is to report it or ask any questions! .........that would be = "Discrimination"!!!.......I was horrified to think of the waste!....I believe we are not doing enough to HELP THE HELPLESS that truly need Medicare and Medicaid .....but the grifters and con artists? = NOPE!

  • You should get your facts straight before you type them. The Republicans right now have actually put forth more bill to help with health care reform than the Democrats have. The problem is that the Republicans don't want the government to run health care programs and are therefore being shutdown by the Democratic majority. FYI: President Clinton was not impeached for infidelity but rather perjury.

Republicans are all for small government, and state and individual rights. (The Constitution)

  • True the Republican neocons care nothing about people and never did, unless they have fat pocket books, and own corporations, like Halliburton, Shell, Bankers, and Defense Contractors, etc. So, demonizing this effort to control spiraling healthcare cost, a Reality, of Greed which will be muliplied, when the sheeple who follow their media spin vote them back in.Neocons bitch about no change, but, block all possible changes. The Bush majority Supreme court rubberstamped it.

  • Impeaching Clinton was for perjury, not infidelity. Even conservatives want many of the current GOP crop out. What GOP USED to stand for and will again if they like winning: limited government, low taxes, low spending, strong defense. LEGAL Immigration. Best hope for the poor is education that is not dependent on a Federal Department of Indoctrination (er, I mean Education)- limit welfare. Judeo-Christian values) libs just hate that) Traditional definition of marriage, pro-life. Any more ?s?

  • perjury, Really? Ive grown tired of the hypocrisy. im not going to take the time to rebut all of your arguments so ill say this i agree the best hope for the poor is education and not being dependent but judeo-christian values, "traditional marriage", "pro-life", or any religious beliefs should not and can not be forced on a what is suppose to a free society. The democrats and the gop especially are only concerned about power. notice each time you hear from gop its to bash Obama, nothing else

  • woah. alex jones was right

  • 2010 and 2012 are going to bring about a cleansing the likes of which the Congress (both Houses) has never seen before. But can the nation take this for another year? The Dems have to know they are finished so they're going to ram through ever liberal wet dream policy they can think of before they're booted out, the will of the people be damned. Hell, even the last Rassmussen poll showed that govt workers are against Obamacare as well let alone those employed by private enterprise.
