After you finish the main story of the thieves guild, you aren't officially the leader yet. You have to increase the influence of the Guild in every major city before they make you the guild master. After that they should address you accordingly.
When I became Arch-Mage the NPC'S responded accordingly to the change, commenting on how they never believed I would be of that rank etc. so I don't believe it is for every guild.

Skyrim = boring quests always go to the SAME looking cave or dungeon kill some draugrs and go get some item, combat sucks you might as well just sit back and use your bow or magic, dragons are pretty easy, and it has almost no enemies around 17 at that a few of them that you almost never come across, and the puzzles are easy because they are always the same 2 or 3 ones over just slightly different.
@Whybehim There's one problem with that hypothesis. Level 81 is reached when all your skills reach 100. They would need to increase the skill cap (totally viable as it could open up room for more perks) or add new skills altogether (not so likely), or make the level ups rewards for quests.
I had a strange issue when i was doing the Escape Cidnha Mine quest (or w/e it's called). The Forsworn prisoners and I ran into other Forsworn while we were outside the city and they tried killing each other. Or are the guys i escaped with not Forsworn, just dressed like them?

What you describe is internet sillyness. Broad assumptions about a video simply based on the the title and little else. My main gripe about the game is with the perk system. With one perk per level and a max level of 81, you get 80 perks. There are a total of 251 perks in the game. So many to choose, but so little to choose. It leaves little room open to experiment with them. As some perks grant handy little abilities, it's possible that a particular perk could prove too fun/useful to go without.It just feels too limited for an Elder Scrolls game to not allow players to even accumulate a quarter of all the perks.
@LordDraco170 80 is about 30% of 250... That's more than a quarter. And I think the reason its so limited is to give the game some replay value. You can become all-powerful in some areas but it would be rather silly to have mastery of every combat skill in the game.

About a half to two thirds is where I like it, enough to experiment and not feel so limited. The perk trees being always accessible adds to that limited feeling. Just so you know there's definitely passive conversation changes for the mages guild questline. It is somewhat saddening that there aren't really active dialogue changes within the game.
@SmileeDude23 They are both RPGs. An MMO essentially just means it is multiplayer. To be accurate, WoW is an MMORPG. Skyrim is singleplayer, but still and RPG

great vid, thats pretty much the problem, skyrim has that huge open world and the fact that u can do anything but thats all it has going for it...alot of the things it does have been done better in other games, I guess its the price it pays for trying to do literally everything in the biggest world possible
I don't like skyrim because I personally think it is boring. I also wish the combat was 3rd person (not a half-baked horrid option) as a full option that works well instead of clunky first person combat. Also I want them to stop rehashing engines and just reskinning them.

@Whybehim There's one problem with that hypothesis. Level 81 is reached when all your skills reach 100. They would need to increase the skill cap (totally viable as it could open up room for more perks) or add new skills altogether (not so likely), or make the level ups rewards for quests.
