Malkin is anyday better! He is CENTER, and Therrien put him to play on Left Wing. He should be playing 1st line center and Crosby 2nd line center. Both on first power-play, but Geno on the line...and whola, team is ready for cup. If only they can beat Red Wings this time

Malkin is anyday better! He is CENTER, and Therrien put him to play on Left Wing. He should be playing 1st line center and Crosby 2nd line center. Both on first power-play, but Geno on the line...and whola, team is ready for cup. If only they can beat Red Wings this time

don't get me wrong, this video is pretty sweet and has some good clips, especially considering he is very early in his carrer. just imagine what it will look like in about 10 years from now. i doubt he can top that move he put on brodeur though. that was ridiculous

well Malkin has 1 more game left to get 6 points or more to beat Ovechkin. So it does not look like he will win the scoring title. but I think he deserves MVP. He's just an all around better play maker and player than Ovechkin in my opinion. very close but I think he deserves it this year with how he has taken the Pens full force ahead

Can you say...MVP. Or at least he should be. The way he's carrying the pens while Sid's been out is the epitome of what an MVP for your team is. If the caps don't make the playoffs Evgeni should be MVP hands down, if they do then you can argue Ovi should be, they're both beasts!

I agree. He has carried the team and has scored a insane amount of points the last half of the season. If the Capitals miss the playoffs then I think Malkin really should get MVP, but even as a pens fan I might have to say if the Caps to make the playoffs then Ovechkin should get MVP simply because he has over 60 goals, but then again if Malkin can beat him in the points race and he is only 4 back now, he should get it at that point to.

I totally agree with you. Even if the caps do make the postseason and Geno somehow finds a way to pass him in points, I still think the total points should outweigh the goals, it shows a more complete package. Anyway I think Ruutu should win!!!
