  • Dope man, I would like to be there

  • not to bust your bubble, but i grow up on all of these grimy streets. but since your not from the bronx i guess u can call it whereever you want. at least we look better than the idiots in Queens.

  • Nice Vid..You should make one of Morrisania or Hunts Point bro..

  • What streets are those in 0;39-0:45?

I remember seeing buildings in Brooklyn that looked worse in 1995 and now they're worth millions. Something tells me the South Bronx might be worth a lot more money in the next 10 years.

  • what's this track playing? it's dope

  • Lets not get it twisted... the south may have higher crime rates.. but based off pure total numbers..... new york city has a whole has more murders than alot of those smaller southern cities... and mind you new york city has plenty of rich people that live in it... also guns are not legal like they are in the south.. so anyone killing with a firearm already faces two charges..... if guns in nyc were legal.... all hell would break loose.

  • @TheKendub718 yea NYC does have more murders out of any city because they're the most populated, and not everywhere in the south guns are legal

  • this is actully not so grimy as you say, this vid was taken recently because you showed my neighborhood and the areas in which i grow up in. when i left 2 years ago they started to put trees and try to make it look nice, which ironically the city remove them some 25 years ago because it promotes dark areas in which "crime can take place"

  • it looks like russia

  • this looks like da suburbs compared to da south

  • @813flawdaboy that was a good joke , since your south cities are based on a urban downtown surrounded by nice little houses in big ass suburbs haha.

  • @Gryphus89 lol NY aint as bad is it was 20 years ago...its one of the safest cities....and trust me NY niggas dont kno nothin about da south cause all yall kno is NY...theres much moreeeeee poverty and murders and crime in southern cities than there is in NY...but ya vids got good music lol

  • @813flawdaboy I Dont question what you said, I agree that the south is craziest when it comes to crime poverty etc... but you said it looks like the suburbs which is a joke , because the whole south looks like a massiv suburbs there aint no 30 stories project towers and what else have you... all yall got is small houses which are sometimes abdoned and run down , thats what I was reffering to. peace

  • @Gryphus89 yea yur right about dat...i think its because NY is a much older city than any other city in da south...and NY has 8 million ppl

  • @813flawdaboy

ny is a state not a city, new york city or nyc is the correct term.

  • @DarkosApprentice you know what i meant

  • @813flawdaboy

Also what ghettos exist in florida? hahahahahaha

  • @DarkosApprentice lol you're funny...floridas the 5th most dangerous state and has 2 cities that made top 10 most dangerous cities in the US...but im pretty sure you've seen videos of floridas hoods on here 'cause i know you search it

  • @813flawdaboy

lol most people think florida is a retirement state filled with senior citizens and beaches, I never hear anything about florida being hood or a dangerous state, California and texas are dangerous states.

  • @DarkosApprentice yea florida's a place where many people move to after they retire and stuff...but not all of florida is like that...every city in every state has a hoods/ghettos...but theres plenty of neighborhoods in cities of florida that made the list for most dangerous neighborhood in the country...florida is beautiful and nice but not all of it, jus' like how NYC has beautiful places...and theres areas in florida that are even worse than brownsville, south bronx and harlem and so on

  • @813flawdaboy Poverty is poverty. Our worst ghettos are nothing compared to the favelas of Rio DeJaniero or the shanty towns in the Phillippines, or in Haiti, in Johannesburg, or anyplace where poor people are marginalized and shoved into ghettos. They existed in the past and they exist now. The fact that they exist is an indictment of our failure as a people to eliminate poverty when we have the means to do so. So let's stop comparing and work on eliminating ghettos.

  • @813flawdaboy its in the south very south

  • @iliketrains007 what's in the south?

  • Damn I live in Harlem right across the bridge from this part of the BX ....I never knew it really looked like this...by the way what is the name of this song?

  • Uptown is the historically relevant chronicle of Washington Heights during the rise of crack cocaine. Dominated by powerful stories and based on real life accounts, Uptown will answer the questions most asked about that time when Washington Heights was the Drug Capital of the World, and the people who made the headlines.

You wanted the real story...prepare for the truth.
