seriously wtf are kids watching sunrise for at 6 am? very very very few kids would be watching compared to the other children programs that air simultaneously. If he had done this on a children's show then you could use the "think of the children" argument and be appalled at this behavior. I think your argument of "think of the children" is insignificant and should be largely ignored. The person this hurt most is jo and and anyone else in jo's life that saw it as well.

no, it wasn't fake, but him dumping her was. If that makes sense. He's from The Chaser, and he was doing this thing about creatively dumping your significant other... so he did that. I'm pretty sure the hosts didn't know what he was doing. :D
He also did a big sign above a freeway saying "Will you divorce me?" and announced it at during some sport.

yeah, it's a tv show. It's like... hmn, it's hard to describe. It's a bunch of guys running around doing weird things, and harassing politicians. Most students love it because of the political views. It's a satire/skit/news show. http://www.abc.net.au/tv/chaser/war/video/default.htm
