i have a 2006 2.4 SS and its automatic. i bought a stage 2 turbo kit from ZZPerformance. they are based out of Michigan. im putting out 275 to the wheels. not super fast but definitely impressive. the psi was standard set at 7. they have an updated kit that is 8psi.

What was your 60' in this video? I ran a 13.8 @ 104mph with a 2.2 60'. I'm wondering if my 60' is what's killing me

mine ran a 15.7 stock, Automatic 2.4

My advice is buy a better performing car instead of turbocharging the cobalt. The tranny is weak, I blew my tranny up then had it fully rebuilt then it started slipping again. Much happier with my G35 Coupe.

@TylerV73 Friggin awesome. I have a 2.4L stock with Auto. They are pretty quick cars. I almost had a neon SRT4. But alas....im not running forced induction

did you have to request the auto tranny? i thought they only made manual SS trims

@stupidplants the supercharged are all manual, but theres the 2.4 engine as well, a lot of those are auto.

No, tranny has been holding up for over 2 years now fine. I have a tune and a trans cooler. The fastest this setup has got me so far is a 13.4 at this same track. I think it has more in it as well but I need more practice launching.

let me noe cuz i gota get a cooler obvesley and nething else cuz mine just melted and i cant afford 3 grand for a rebuilt tranny every 6 months

this car to date has a best of 13.6 @ 99 mph and a 13.7 @ 104 mph and has a 2.5 inch corsa exhaust hahn base garrett kit and a custom tune.

Yeah it actually ran a 13.6 that night that i wasnt able to get anyone to video. i think it has more in it though. Its a garrett kit that hahn built off of then i went a little more custom on top of that.
