  • do you know what works better than fake crayfish...real crayfish

  • @daniel123s1ckstuffz lol.. it seems to be working just fine. a real cray would not swim like that lipless crank hes got

  • @PezoCon sorry my bro wrote that, he knos nothing about fishin

  • Why dont you put the carwfish on the hook?

  • @TheMonkey5555555 because car fish don't exist. And he has a lure that immiates them, you don't have to rebait, and the action on the lure will attract more fish than a dead crayfish on your line

  • It wouldn't be because game fish are attracted to a red color as bleeding bait. smh

  • i can't even begin to think how much that bag of crawfish cost haha

  • roll tide!

  • u cant use them live

  • much the bait

  • Looks like a great place to float tube fish.

  • nice!

  • Notings better than having your own little pond. i'm jealous.

  • How and where did you get bag of crayfish? Good vid by the way!

  • thats a big ass bass

  • Do you own this pond?

  • Nice place

  • wow.nice little honey hole. is this your personal pond?

  • this is his private pond - make no mistake. he was feeding his own fish with those crawfish.

  • dude keep the fish and maybe if you're lucky you get the crawfish too. Dinner man fish and crawfish. that'd be what i'd call a return on your initial investment, wholy that really makes sense too

  • 2 words bullfrog tadpoles!!! nothing is better for your sportfish.crays can defend themselves!they like to poke out eyes on large fish and turtles that other them. on the right side,in 3 years yoll have qite a crayfish harvest!!!

  • @irishbreakfast he seemed to do really for only 4 minutes of fishing. it's hard to beat two casts, two fish

  • nice bass at 2:35

  • he proably makes his own crawdad trap u can make them easy and catch dozens... great place to fish

  • watching this in the middle of the winter depresses me :( ..

  • @cb7pwn lol yeah, get ready for trout season. i just went fishing yesterday and caught 2 large mouth bass.

  • @rplhouse or you just catch them with a chicken leg you get at the store for 89cents

  • i would have eatin them crawdads

  • fish look skinny

  • is tht your pond, and is it stocked?

  • Why not just use them as bait.

  • Noticing that the two bass you caught had a big head and a very skinny body..... generally that's a sign of too many bass and not enough forage.... might want to consider keeping some fish for eating to thin them out some.

  • lol.. it's considered illegal here to put in red swamp crayfish into the waters.. but it would help make them bass bigger up in the northern states :P

  • Where do you find such a large bag of live crawfish and how much does a bag like that cost?

  • Nice!

  • Ahh.. awesome! A good place to practise!

  • where do u get that many craq fish???

  • @philrock09 thats what i was going to ask..

  • im guessing he just doesnt do tht for chum, he does it to put some crawfish in, so the bass stay healthy, he doesnt put the fish in only for chum

  • damn..you can afford to drop crawfish AS CHUM..to me thats dinner. lol

  • I feel like doing this is cheating... but at the same time looks so damn effing awesome and funny.

  • what kind of reel are you using?

  • why use crankbaits in a crawdad pattern when you could just use one of them or a crawdad plastic? like no offense but idk i think it would look a little more real

  • that fish doesnt even know it has just been seen by 78000 people

  • That is beautifull and full of huge bass! would love to find a place like that......

  • Nice

  • just curious, why not just do a hook and sinker setup with a lice crawfish on it?

  • so did you throw the crawdads to get the bass to eat in that area you threw them in.Then try to catch it with bait thats similair to a crawdad? if so nnice stradegy

  • Good guys catching and releasing! Awesome video guys check out my NEWZEALAND fly fishing for trout videos.

  • I know fishing live crawfish ALWAYS brings the LUNKERS in. My old man never chumed the water though. I'd do it on my own pool.

  • whats the name of that lure?

  • That was fast and great fish size too! im going to try this one day see what i catch

  • Nice video man!

  • Looks like one of Kopper's lures. Best place to buy them is tacklewarehouse.

  • @Malo509 Xcalibur Xr50 Real Craw - $6.99

  • Sonuva on the first cast too. Ive bass fished my whole life 30 years and thats about the size of the biggest bass ive ever caught 8lbs. Man thats a good fishing hole!

  • Comment removed

  • this is sweet

  • do u know what that bait is called ?

  • @ObJeCTNatioN are you slow?

  • @ObJeCTNatioN Xcalibur Xr50 Real Craw - $6.99

  • Nice pond dude!

  • Where can i buy one of the crankbaits

  • Is this your pond? or is it part of a bigger lake?

  • Damn man thats a beautiful place to fish!! U own it?

  • niceeee

  • you should be throwing bluegill in there, those bass are really skinny. Bluegill will also reproduce so you won't have to throw in crawfish all the time

  • @kylerprochaska actually i seen a test and bass actually lost weight when they ate bluegill and gained weight when they ate crawfish. sounds crazy but it's true

  • As scrawny as that bass was are you sure you are not feeding the crawfish??

  • lol JUICEIN THE HOLE!

  • is that a bait cast your using

  • @zombieconga correct i can tell by the sound of the cast

  • why not just fish with the crankbait?

  • Put a flathead in there to control those bait snatching green carp.

  • LIKE A BOSS!

  • "About to put out some craww-diddys"

  • good idea

  • cool

  • You should have some 14 lb Bass in there with that kind of grub being fed to them/

  • i like your topwater videos but this....this is just a shame...

  • Man, its my dream to have a pond and area of land like this someday!

  • nice bass at 0.49

  • @MickJaggerr1 i see what u did thar

  • sweet pond

  • I LOVE CRAWFISH

  • Ya'll almost don't need a boat with the casting ability of that rod and reel. Geez!

  • nice stuff man sub back

  • first thing that comes to mind is chumming for sharks

  • I always laugh to myself when I see someone chucking a 1/2oz or heavier trap on a spinning setup.

  • chummer

  • I love me some pond fishin.

  • i dont understand why he catches them and then just lets them go...

  • @xxxtoxicjelloxxx Its a first world white people thing. Anyone else would be like "Fuck that. Im eating that shit."

  • @xxxtoxicjelloxxx catch and release, conservation

  • its called chuming

  • @10072018 LOL

  • ohh so get the fish full on chum so it wont bite ur bait so thats the trick at being a masterbaiter

  • Good looking pond and you're right.....bass love to gobble up crayfish! nice video man!

  • were is this spot at can u please tell me!

  • thumbs up if you thought that was a huge bass at 1:14 but it was the reflection

  • @MultiBassAssasin

your trying to get thumbs on a fishing video. im gonna stop there

  • Nice place

  • i would like to fish a jig there

  • where r u at in this video what state

  • that amazing

  • damn is that a bass infested pond??? that's alot of bass lol...

  • Thumbs me up if Smallmouth Bass love Crayfish! The Rio Reservoir, Sulivan County, NY

  • Post spawn. But same tatic with carp works great and is fun. Corn or dog food then a fly rod with a small hook tied to a ball of deer hair yellow or brown

  • fast fish

  • its not skinny its probably just a male they don't get as fat

  • Nice work fishing the pond. Good size fish.

  • never seen bass that skinny before...but if hes dumpin all them crawdads in their is plenty to eat i say

  • frikkin awesome

  • What state is that pond in?

  • i did and it said its typical for bass head to be bigger then the body if its not during spawn.

  • Nice Cast

  • That pond has too many fish in it, the fish are not healthy. They have big heads and little bodies. You need to get some of those bass out of there so they can grow.

  • @bryanutoob really cause the bass are huge? shut up

  • @FlMasterBass Did not say they were not 'huge', but they are unhealthy. Do a little research.

  • @bryanutoob The bass are perfectly healthy. Like FIMasterBass said their heads tend to be bigger in proportion to the body size out of the spawn.

  • @bryanutoob

That's not how it works with bass, they self regulate their population by eating the skinny ones.

they will grow and adapt just fine on their own.

  • wow

  • For you idiots who say what a waste he's feeding his fish so they'll get bigger.!

  • how rich people fish!

  • he's stimulating the economy and stimulating his fishing hole.

  • Respect the john boat!

  • those are some nice looking fish

  • dam

  • I wouldve thrown them in the shallow end so more could survive and reproduce, start up a decent population as oppose to them just feasting on them.

  • great job dude props

  • It's the crayfish's lucky day....

  • That must be you own pond. So you fatten up those hogs. Hey what a way to keep stocks healthy!

  • You supposed to eatem not let them go

  • @odin031119750311 whoever said that?

  • Really Smart.

  • BAIT!

  • how much $ did u spend on crawfish doing this?

  • should have just boiled the crawfish and ate that

  • @jjpear713 Live bait is cheating :D

  • i bait a spot 1 week b4 fishing it ... with whatever u wanna use.... u bait it every day for 1 week and then fish it on the last day.... even a place that hold no fish normally will hold what ur baiting for....

  • @jjpear713 thuis is called chumming.... good for all species of fish.... not only do u attract and hold them in a spot... u bulk em up too

  • @justfishingjustin yeah but i fished with cray at the lake and 1 attract about 5

  • @jjpear713 u dont understand the potential in baiting .... chumming... holding numbers of big fish.... setting an appitite... making a menu for them... frenzy.....its not about catching the fish already there....

  • these fish are slim and long..... this means there are alot of bass.... and not so much food... an exelent place to chum.... cuz u can really get em all in one spot.... nice knife by the way. live target craw is a great lure

  • @justfishingjustin good point i cauht my crawfish bait and i use shad on saltwater rigs since i saltwater fish more but craws always get a bite on a hook & thanks

  • Baiting the hole - have been doing this for years - eventually - after a couple of years of doing this the larger fish will tend to accumulate there knowing there is a good supply of food there. We have even tied whole chickens to cinder blocks and dropped them in the water at our "spot" - coming back to great fishing. The few crawdads that DO get away make babies and more food for the bass - and they help the eco-system as well. Nice video.

  • This is what we call "establishing the future" my boys. Lol He put those in for later down the road. (I hope... Or he rich?

  • This reminds me of the time I poured out a handle of Johnny Walker Gold Label at a fraternity house hoping somebody would smell it, come downstairs and offer me a couple of beers.

  • @thekidscallmeBlue

    LOL that is funny!

  • i get where you are coming from but was it worth it

  • I dont do alot of fishing but i just dont understand how effective this method really is? you put a huge sack of crawfish (which by it self must be expensive and tastey) into your fishing area, this then enduces a feeding frenzy for the fish? which enables you to catch several fish? maybe we didnt see how many you truely caught but i dont think this is a good way to do it

  • what kind of crawfish bait was that

  • I'm pretty sure the bass would have hit with out you chumming the water!

  • Now THAT'S CHUMMING!

  • illeagle

  • Very expensive fishing u fools!

  • 10lbs of crawdads for a 1lb. Bass! I´d eat the crawdads ! Gumbo ...

  • @roger30424

hahaha i was thinking the same thing!

  • shoulda kept tho crawfish and ate them :D

  • lol

  • I'm a fisher, and I wills ay that you have a great fishing idea with these crawdads, where could I get a bag of them red crawdads live like that? And whats the name of that bait your throwing after you let them go? Please :-)
