  • just go in in display setings and check widescreen and you don¨t get this problem.

  • @SaschaKarilampi ^^ He's right. Works flawlessly.

  • I had problems with ATI Eyefinity with 5760X1200 resolution. It was really annoyingly zoomed in.

This can be corrected by opening the game console and using the command "gfx_WideScreenFOV"

  • hi. i cannot get this to work . i have eyefinity enabled and it works in Windows 7 desktop (was working with GTA III too), but when i go into a game like NFS or Far Cry 2, the image is very stretched. In the game it says it is at 640*480 and looks pretty bad. Everything is zoomed in, but across 3 monitors. How do i fix this? I tried editing the xml file with no luck :( Thanks.

  • I've installed the game and 1.03 patch, but i still get stretched HUD and menus, subtitle, etc. although the picture it self, is perfect.

    Also running Eyefintiy at 6020x1200.

In gameprofile.xml, Force Widescreen is ON. Did you have to change anything manually, or did ticking the "Widescreen" box in the end u being the only thing you had to do?

  • what the fuck on 240p it can't keep up and I have 1536Kbps web.

    Youtube, go FUCK yourself.

  • hd 5970? what res, settings, fps, etc?

  • also even at 16.9 or 16.10 farcry 2 is a 16:10 Ratio Game make sure the Widescreen Check off is on because it fixes the widescreen mode

  • suddenly i got an urge to play FC2

  • love it

    love it

    LOVE IT

  • uuuuhhhh basically all this dude has done is put what is normally on one monitor and streched it across 3. In this game that's too much screen to watch and puts you at a distinct disadvantage. Bad idea.

  • @TheEms32 its not stretched cause the resolution is significantly improved

  • @TheEms32 I agree. It doesnt seem like the driver is displaying this game properly. The view he has is that of 1 screen.

  • man that looks weird each monitor is a diff brightness and color

  • yeah he needs identical monitors

  • not really, its done because of monitor angle , when ur sitting in it , its all the exact same.

  • It's because it's a TN panel lcd. In other word, the display has terrible viewing angle. It only looks accurate in the front.

  • Definitely see what you mean about the verticality being perhaps chopped off. BIt frustrating. Otherwise, pretty cooL!

  • Is this Far Cry 2 Version 1.0? Because at the beginning it actually cut of the Top and Bottom of the screen when you chose a Widescreenresolution, but Ubisoft seemed to fix that with a newer Patch. It IS far zoomed in, because you usually see the Steeringwheel while your in the car

  • Hmm. The use of colours are diffrent on each screen. On the left is more greeny and in the middle more warmer colours and on the right more brighter. Weird.

  • that's because the camera's at an angle.

if you were there in real life it wouldn't look like that.

  • @MrNuun I'm pretty sure its from the camera's perspective. If you there it wouldn't look like it

  • Hmm, could be. The differences are rather big not?

  • ya it looks soooo zoomed in for some reason

  • is this any good on PC. I played it on my ps3 and the gameplay was teribble.

  • @IAreCrazyChris

i know i played it on xbox 360 and it fuckin sucked the game wasnt smooth at all. but i mean if u have a kick ass computer than of course its better youll pop out 90 frames with resolutions higher than a 360 can even handle. :)

  • what monitors do u use?

  • Yah it's known fact you have to increase the FOV manually

  • wich monitors you use???

  • so its not yet perfect..

  • Driver related oh and the game needs to support it too ;)

  • HOw much were those monitors?

  • if you turned all the screens 90 degrees so there all vertical it will be 16:9 and you wont miss out the tops and bottoms :)

  • @lorecan Uhhh no, the aspect ratio woiuld still be wider thatn 16:9. And since 1.03, the cropping behaviour has been fixed.

You people tbhat gave that a Thumbs Up have no idea what youre talking about.

  • did anybody notice whenu look on ech sreen the qoulity change

  • The colors appear different because the camera is viewing them from different angles. Viewing angle alters the color and brightness of the picture. For the user sitting directly infront of the monitors, they will all look identical.

  • You can do the same thing with nVidia cards... I see nothing special here...

My card has 3 video outputs and i can do the same thing...

  • nvdiva uses oher teknology rhe thing is there not going to make anymore drivers for that tecnology

  • hahahaha..... what the hell is that suppose to mean?

Nvidia uses other technology other than what?

You can make 3 displays work as one on any nVidia card that has 3 video outputs...

  • TripleHead2Go this is the tcnology nvidia uses but the thing is the latest graphi card have a problem with this technology and nvidia doesnt do anything about it

  • Please stop posting if you don't know what you're talking about. TripleHead2Go is from Matrox.

  • How wrong and ignorant you are. Your card may have 3 video outputs, but you CAN NOT combine t he 3 monitors into one image like EyeInfinity does, which is its primary purpose. Prior to EyeInifinity, you had to pay hundreds of $ for triplehead2go.

    War2go Nvidiot fanboi.

  • I agree with nearly everything you say. However, "softth" is something that works for some of us. I gave up, as my especially wierd combination of two 1600x1200 20" monitors that had to be in "portrait" mode - along with the new 2560x1600 30" in the middle - proved very difficult to troubleshoot.

  • @yvese

Man i am going to buy a triple monitor setup with a 5870 can you please tell me do i have to buy triplehead2go if you have eyefinity on you video card i cause i want to have trhee screen that are one screen like triplehead2go if you know what i mean.

Please explain in detail what eyefinity is

  • Incorrect. It wont work across 3 monitors for games, only windows desktop.

  • Looks like you'll have to manually set the FOV... if you can.

  • The game was meant to be played on 6 monitors with the the Eyefinity tech. That should fix the problem when it comes out early next year.

  • can u use 3 panels with Crossfire to increase FPS?

  • not sure, but this single card is usually BETTER than your old CF sollutions

  • You can use 3 on cf as well.

  • No, not yet.

This is a new technology it will take at least another year to fix this plus bezel managment needs to be fixed as well

  • that looks fricken insaneeee

  • Me.

    Buy.

    Soon.

  • it is definitely zoomed in

  • It's probably the well-known FOV issues. Far Cry 2 requires an FOV hack to look correct on a SINGLE widescreen monitor, I can only imagine it's worse on a multi-widescreen setup.

  • haha pwned

with the 3 30 inch monitors hes not seeing everything he should be seeing

eyefinity = there reverse effect of the one it was intended for

  • well its still new technology and it works for about 80% of what it should do but now its just driver fixes and they should come soon

  • sweet
