  • Billy West was so awesome... loved those golden years of the Stern show on E!, right around 1995-1997.

  • I thought it would be a good idea to find more images of the puppet online so I typed in 'Howard Stern Jackie Puppet' into the Google Image search. I gave up after the first image it came up with. You don't want to see what I'm talking about, trust me.

  • Billy West as jackie puppet, fuckin classic

  • i like how I was younger Billy West provided the voices to most of my childhood television shows, Doug, Ren from Ren & Stimpy, to think this shit went down during that time.

  • @emmetLshavinski How does that compare to all the children's cartoons that Gilbert Gottfried did?

  • @Gunman610 very true, billy west did more

  • LAUGH GOD DAM YOU LAUGH!!!!!

  • Uh-leven.

  • The show was GREAT when Billy West was on there. They all went after each other and busted balls. Now we have the evolved "Hampton's Howie".

  • @bigbee714 This era was by FAR the best! Nothing against Artie, but he added nothing to the Show. There was NOTHING funnier on the Stern Show that when Jackie, Gilbert and Howard were just laughing and feeding off each other's comedic energy.

  • @1970borntorun i love the show but honestly im glad artie left

  • This version of the show was the greatest, Howard, Jackie, Billy and Fred improvising during Robin's news, goofing on Studdering John and Bababooey and picking on Jackie. It was a great combination. Plus the presence of Jackie and Billy kept Robin's ego in check. Too bad there is no one on the show to do that these days.

  • this is fucking nuts ROFLMAO

  • OH OHHHH!

  • 0;51 best part

  • F Timmy

  • 1995-2004=the best years of Howard Stern.

  • @pele6922 No, 2001- 2010 were the best, the Artie years..

  • @Hodongji Artie was funny but I liked Billy better. Not just Jackie Puppet but his other stuff fit the show. I know Howard was great prior to 1995 and after 2004 but I think this period was very good.

  • @Hodongji no way. these were the golden years.

  • Give me 11 Oh Oh!

  • Robin rules

  • LAUGH LAUGH GOD DAMNIT

  • "F JACKIE!"

  • Hey Skippy Eyes How many comments are after 10 here?

  • Did Howard do all the voice for the puppet ? amazing impressions , or was it Fred as well

  • @isaveu doh Billy West answered my own question . missed these shows :(

  • @isaveu Howard never did the Jackie puppet, it was Billy West who is gone now, Fred does the Gary puppet

  • "oh OH !"

    -Jackie Puppet

  • talk about running a bit into the ground. People who wax poetic for the old days are delusional.

  • I can't believe I'm saying this, but "this" Howard Stern era makes me miss the 90s and the time I'd listen to the radio in between my shitty job at the time and during my morning commute to that shitty job. Missy Jackie too.

  • eleven/ Billy West was amazing.

  • "You created me!"

  • The Golden time.

  • billy west prolly couldnt talk the rest of the show.. SO much effort to do that. even for 8 mins

  • oh, OH!!!

  • This is amazing radio! What a great time to be a fan.... I would love to see video of this

  • jackie was tough.his ego didnt get bruised like howard and freds.he could take it as well as dish it out.

  • Stern, before Jackie left and he began to suck badly. Jackie was Howie's equal despite, or perhaps by virtue of the fact that he's a hack comic. Billie West was the shit too. Now it's Hamptons Chat.

  • 90's Stern was just so awesome. I wish I had been born earlier so I could have caught more of it >.<

  • God I miss late 90's Stern.

  • There was a young man named Dave

Who kept a dead whore in a cave

He said it was hell, but when he gets past the smell

Think of the money he'd save

  • Jackie's laugh is fucking INFECTIOUS. I agree that this is Howard Stern at his best. Check out "Jackie laughs at others' misfortune."

  • AHEM. UHHHHHHHHHHH LEH VENNNNNNNNNNN

  • OH OH! OH OH! OH OH! OH OH! OH OH!

  • How many times must I comment on this Jackie Puppet? Uhh,Eleven!!

  • This is not Stern at his best it is Billy West at his best .

  • @hanksnow82 It's the SHOW at it's best.

  • so funny I can't breathe!!!!

  • Makes me laugh no matter what!

  • "How old are you Jackie?"

    "Uhhhh-Leven?!"

  • 2 niggaz walk into a bar

  • Uhh..Eleven?!

  • Hey Jackie Puppet How Many Months do you think Howard Has Left at Sirius?

  • @tovara22 Uhh.. Eleven?

  • this is the best radio.... EVER.

  • It would be great If Jackie sat in for a couple of weeks, like how George Takie does.

  • i love stern it gets me through my life if this stuff goes away in 5 months it will be a shame

  • "How many breasts does Robin have?"

    "Eleven..."

    That's about right.

  • @Hooah1984

I dunno. I can't get enough of the Jackie puppet bits.

Stern admitted that he told Billy to never stop, even if he told him to do just that on-air. I notice that Stern tries to place a personality on the show as a voice in someone's subconcious. Jackiepuppet was the mean, hateful, mocking voice that underlies jealousy and sadness.

I always ate it up. I wonder what that says about me.

  • @Hooah1984

That appears to be the case, but I think there's an element of delivery on West's part that would disturb everyone. An example would be when Billy is laughing at Jackie until he tells him to knock it off. I don't think that was written or expected. It's all very fluid which just makes it great.

  • Uh-leven!

  • Heres 1000's more howard clip at new channell subscribe

  • I still don't understand why this is funny. Love the Stern show but how can anyone miss this? I don't even get half the stuff the puppet is saying... Discuss current events and rip on the staff. That's what I like. F Jackie.

  • Does anybody believe the Stern Show did not hit its peak with the

    Howard-Fred-Jackie-Billy lineup?

  • The Howard/Jackie/Billie bits were the pinnacle of the show..

After these bits ended, the show couldnt match the raw humor again...

  • @tillman40 - I think that combination made everyone on the show funnier.

  • Man, wish that they really did do a Twighlight Zone w/ Jackie Puppet. That's almost disturbing how much the puppet is taunting Jackie, and Jackie has to sit there and take it. "I'm never going to leave you... You created me...". This is definitely a favorite Stern show moment.

  • Billy is the best. Maybe in Artie's absence we'll hear him again.

When Jackie gets pissed about the pot song Billy lays it on thicker. Plus he sat right behind him so that probably burned him even more.

    "I'm your Mr. Misspictissillic"

  • "Money, roof over your head, booty Juice and secret booty juice"

  • yet you have time to bitch about a comment i made about artie several months ago...hmmm, interesting.

  • Jackie made Fred better and kept Robin in check....These were the golden years mid to late 90's til 2001.

  • i agree with tubeyouuser123ABC

jackie did ruined his own career when he left when billy and jackie were together

the show was great i wish billy would do the show

  • "Why won't you laaaaugh!"

  • Submitted for your approval ... Howard's Twilight Zone references are great.

  • Jackie in the end ruined his career by leaving the Stern show.

  • Can't argue with that. At all. Career Suicide.

  • "Laugh, Goddamn you! LAUGH!!"

This era was the absolute peak of Stern. Jackie Puppet: High Water Mark.

  • @Broadwaymungo That jokes funny damnit LAUGH wwooohohohooo ahahha... TAAAINT

  • @Broadwaymungo It pains me to think how insanely talented Billy was on the show and how little he was paid, as opposed to Artie "Lucky Pierre" Lange, and how much HE was paid.

There's no justice, I tell ya.

  • @rabidrabbitshuggers "F LUCKY PIERRE!"

  • "I smoke eleven joints, I do eleven impressions, and I know eleven JOKES!"

    The GOLDEN years!

  • Back then the show had a certain underground/cult quality to it.

Also the show was comprised of characters. These people were unusually, and darkly brilliant.

Now it's just drug addicts, and super rich people bored our of their minds, waiting for their contract to end. It's just not the same.

But Howard at his best...there's just no comparison.

  • @Chequimorena You're wrong.

  • @Chequimorena AMEN!

  • The golden years...Billy and Jackie or Artie and Sal? No contest.

  • @godlike51 I don't mind Sal. I wish they had hired him back in 1996 when they first met him.

  • ohhhhh jackie why did u leave...all we have no is a cry baby fat fuck who has panic attacks about working 4 days a week
