Earlier prototypes did have handles and a different trigger but the trigger wasn't strong enough for lots of bands and I thought it would be safer to experiment with staic guns rather than anything that could accidently get pointed at anyone. After what happened with the Destroyer 2 I think lego guns are best left on the floor!

Pretty simple stuff really. Very strong main body, rotating piece to hold the bands and a trigger to stop the rotating bit rotating until you are ready. Trigger is a bar with rack and pinion to move it. You will need to experiment a bit until it works properly but well worth it!
