  • wow how far scooter tuning has come in the last 25 years another 25 years and we will be all riding 100+mph scooters, still i would not want to be riding that fast on a full body scooter on a windy day they do take off .thanks for a great vid

  • Good job on your video I liked it very much!

  • I remember seeing some of these bikes in Scootering back in my younger years. Cheers for posting. Since I could not find a cure for Lambretta fever, I had to start building an RB 240.

  • vespa :hammer:

    ngakak

  • ive seen 70cc scooters with cvt do 90mph. just goes to show ppl with V8's are fucking stupid.

  • be nice to see a update on this with edmonds and topper :D

  • and this is a few years out of date now, i think the english lambretta speed record now stands at 135MPH that is more than twice what the machine could do when it come off the prodution line, a testement to how tunable piston ported two strokes are , lambretta's in perticular.

  • great video, fantastic to think that a 200cc piston ported engine design thats 45 years old can do this, its a testament to lambretta's. and anyone who coments that motorbikes are faster etc, just dont get it, do they. watched doug turner from coalville race at 3 sisters last weekend, stuart day was there too, good stuff,

  • y not just have a drag race? saves timeplus more entertaining

  • great stuff in the band ha ha

  • great video, nice to watch ! !

  • Progress mate !

  • Where did you find that one?Can you tell its year production?Amazing!

  • Mid 1990s, this was from a UK made direct to video production called Scooter Crazy. What's crazier is that that todays Group 4 Lambrettas are making the same horsepower as the 90's Group 6 bikes.

  • @lambrettist2007 what kind of speeds are they doing now?

  • @servetakid I suppose that depends on the gearing setup for each track, but on the big tracks some of the Group 4 bikes are faster than the Group 6. For track racing they really only count lap times. That said, the new record for Lambretta top speed is 132 mph. That on an aircooled Lambretta set up for sprinting doing a flying mile much like how they did the tests in this video.

  • What a great bit of video. Cheers

  • Yay, the 90's! Thanks for posting this.
