  • Nostalgia attack!

  • wtf??? great movie!!! 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000X better that "yellow submarine"(movie)

  • I LOOKED FILM FOR FILM NOT FOR Sgt. Pepper

  • Gothicanirne20 YOU FIRST GOING TO KILL YOURSELF

  • Metroidhunter9 YOU ARE W0RST IDIOT EVER

  • LIKE FAIRY TALE

  • It's a goddamn satire!

  • A friend of my asserts that this movie single-handedly killed the careers of Peter Frampton and the Bee Gees.

  • fuck this movie its total donkey jizz and piss and shit/ cunt hairy slut film

  • This movie is classic by itself..the idoit who called it the worst movie..well i guess u don't know much don't U?..where have u been dude.. :D

  • Come on people. It's not that bad. It has Peter Frampton, BeeGees, and many more. Sure, it could've been better. ...A lot better. Frampton said the original ideas would've made a great movie, but someone in charge decided to screw with it all. Besides, with Peter Frampton and the BeeGees, ya gotta love it! :D

  • OKAY PEOPLE. its not THAT bad. at least they're singing good songs. and billy preston, steve martin AND alice cooper are in it! whats not to love!

  • @WalrusMuffins10797 And Peter Frampton. Can't forget the Framp. :)

  • very guilty pleasure of mine

  • Aerosmith and Alice Copper are good, but maybe instead of doing it Disco Style, the should've had actually Rock Artist like The Tommy Movie had. Then it would've been watchable.

  • It was suppose to be hokey...it had some of the best actors and artists of the era...Billy Preston as Sgt. Pepper and the Bee Gees singing Beatle songs...who could ask for more.

  • It was suppose to be hokey...it had some of the best actors and artists of the era...Billy Preston as Sgt. Pepper and the Bee Gees singing Beatle songs...who could ask for more.

  • This is the worst movie I've ever seen over 200 times.

  • fuck yes aerosmith<3

  • i saw it on tv once. i didnt think it was horrible.

  • a movie i'm betting steve martin doesn'tput on his resume

  • True, true as bad as this movie really was...it was just something you HAD to see. Sort of like when you drive by a car accident scene on the highway and you just HAVE to slow down and look at it. Before you slam me for mentioning the macabre, you know we all do it. The Bee Gees SGT. P L H C B---ugly, bad, and a terrible travesty--- like an accident, but you just have to see it.

  • Puro pinche mugrero.

  • @KRISSMITH57

No my opinion of the Beatles has never wavered! I was saying that being big Beatles fans we would go see most anything connected with them but this movie was so bad that even though we love the Beatles,we still walked out!

  • God awful movie. Me and a friend went and saw it and walked out half way through....and we are/were big Beatles fans.

  • @gydigh your opinion of The Beatles, probably the worlds greatest band, was shaken by a movie? wow.

  • Odd, as bad as this looks, I kinda want to see it.

  • I watched this as a kid all the time!!! Loved it!

  • this movie SUCKED!

  • I'm good friends with the wife with the director of this movie! I was in one of this latest films. He is a great man, just like all his films!

  • There were a LOT of drugs floating around in the '70's...

    A LOT.

  • The bee gees are epic they carried this movie nuff said

  • George Burns in a Beatles film? No way. Beatles are quintessentially English

  • I actually liked this movie because its the first thing that i ever heard Beatles songs in.....and if my momm dint make me watch it when i was 7 i wouln bee the psycho ninja beatles freak i am todayyy!!! its amazzin and anyone who has not seen it should watch it imedishhlyy...just sayinn

  • first time i saw the trailer i said oh maybe it'll be a good movie but i was pretty damn wrong when i saw it

  • Oh God it's like Xanadu vomited all over a 70s Beatles tribute band

  • Nobody can replace the beatles. THIS MOVIE SUCKS!!!!

  • I thought the purpose of a movie trailer was to get the public to WANT to see the movie. When I see this, it makes me want to turn in the other direction and sprint until I pass out.

  • I LOVE this movie (: Favorite movie of all time!

  • No manches, no sabia de esta pelicula

  • I liked the movie it wasnt that bad.

  • I did also but I think I was 10 yrs old so I can't be blamed for my lack of musical taste :)

  • i have nothing but love for this movie!

    dumb story yes.

    but musicaly entertaining.

i would dare to say half the covers in this movie are "better" or more interesting

    than the originals.

or is it the originals are just played so much?

  • @beauhallingse you are wrong nothing is ever better than the original unless its done by the people who make it

  • was that aerosmith

  • @realworldtalking yes aerosmith plays fvb ((future villan band))

  • Yeah, judging by the fact that they never bothered giving these musicians (except Steve Martin) any acting lessons before filming, it's lack of regular diolague, and that the story was lame, this movie is horrible with a capital H. I mean this makes "Xanadu" look like "Singing in the Rain".

  • This film is somewhat entertainig. Its one of those so bad its good movies. Very overlooked.

  • how could something related with the beatles be that bad....

  • Dude, it's freaking Barry Gibb!

  • wtf was geogre martin thinking pu

  • This is my favorite movieee....[:

  • The Bee Gees are totally bad ass, no matter what they do. Alice Cooper looks like Ron Jeremy. lol. Peter Frampton is horrible. I found it hilarious that Leif Garret was singing along at the end.

  • Oh Yeah! Alice Cooper with a moustache!

  • Donald Pleasance AND George Burns singing!

  • This movie was made in 1978! The Beatles weren't even a group!

  • This trailer sure is a stinker. And I would definitely put it in my top ten of worst movies ever, even though there were a couple of performances I did actually like, most notably Billy Preston's performance of Get Back.

  • they shoudve made it like yellow submarine, animated, diff voices but the songs were actullay the beatles singing

  • Yeah it's called "Yellow Submarine"

  • @sixstring1965 thats what I said

  • i laughed my ass off because this movie was sooo corney. Eric Clapton or whoever he is creeped me out

  • this movie sucks balls

  • I love the Bee Gees and especially The Beatles. This movie really blows. It could have been done much better. I wonder what The Beatles thought of it.

  • poor steve martin...

  • i loved this movie. I loved ALice in it and he would have madea good FVB.

  • This movie was my childhood so I really cant hate it. And I think the music in it is better than the beatle's versions. So smd.

  • This is the worst mover ever. The only redeeming thing this movie has is the Aerosmith cover of Come Together. Other than that every single piece of evidence that this movie was created should be burned and it should be forgotten that it ever existed.

  • I remember watching this in the theatre. Even though I was young, stupid, and stoned I thought "they can't be serious". But they were.

I bet Peter Frampton wishes he could have a do-over signing up for this.

  • Just watched about a half hour of this for some reason. It really may be the worst thing I've ever seen.

  • I remember getting this double record album set as a kid, right after the movie was released, and fell in love with the remakes. This was probably my favorite '70's album of all time. I thought they did a great job at remaking the Beatles covers during this era, although, even back then, I remember thinking the movie was a little cheesy.

  • okay just by looking at the trailer i know that this is the worst movie ever!!!!!

  • They ruined the songs, I swear I am going to kill them one day! These songs were awesome! Now they're... yuk.

  • I actually like the movie, they didn't ruin the music. They just played it. It's like saying that anyone that randomly picks up a guitar or starts singing the lyrics has ruined the songs. Not true, they liked the music so they played it. And they made a good movie to go with it. And if your going to troll me, I have this to say. If you didn't like it or don't like how the movie seems in the trailer, DON'T WATCH IT. Simple as that. Let those who like it like it, and those who hate it, hate it

  • GEEZ! I Actually Liked This Movie! The Only Part I Didn't Like Was When Steve Martin Was Singing Maxwell's Silver Hammer GAH!!!! I Love This Movie Though Despite How Cheesy It Was :)

  • i dont like the covers

  • @y0minin0666 Nobody does xD

  • This actually is not the worst movie ever. Since it did in fact have some pretty good remakes (such as aerosmith). The worst movie ever, of all time from this era would have to be "hurcules" with Lou Ferrigno (1983 ish)

  • I guess I was the only one who liked this flick, no apologies from me haters!

  • I think Steven Tyler died in that movie, didn't he? (They wrote it down in their autobiography)

  • One of the best cult movies ever!

  • I swear this looks like one of those movies that's so bad it's good now.

  • I confused this with the Magical Mystery tour movie. This is far worse

  • i like aerosmith, good cover of come together. but, steve martin ruined maxwells silver hammer, this movie sucks

  • Only thing I can say is : there is no point in this movie. There is NO music scenes. While the beatles created this with creation.

  • This is do dated.. compare this to the Beatles's music itself. Their recordings have stood the test of time. This stuff was just silly and dated.

  • I love this movie...it was great

  • At least the Yellow Submarine Remake won't have Will Smith in it...

  • Movie was ahead of its time. If it were re-released today I bet it would do well. I showed my 8 year old it and she played it till it broke!

  • My brother is only 2 and he loves this movie! watches it over and over..... its funny though i dont get tired of it like i thought i would :)

  • I remember seeing this at a big movie theater in 1977, about half the audience was toking grass and it was a real feeling of being at a concert. Most people cheered and liked it. Hey, it wasn't the Beatles, but it was a package deal that brought fans of many different groups to the cinema that night, and that has its own magic. I miss seeing musical films & concert films at big cinemas. Kids today missed out on a great thing.

  • Worst movie of all time. Deserves a -1* in rating ("JB the 3D Experience" deserves -5) because it bares a Beatles' song title in it, a song well worth, putting more time and effort in the making of a decent movie. And the song came out in 67. The movie? 77. There's no excuse. No fucking excuse. (AVGN reference that fits well with this piece of shite.)

  • The casting of this movie and songs are awesome, but the point of it is....... pointless. It is the Beatles music so thats one good thing about it.

  • It was an ok movie but I'd have to say my fave part of the movie was get back with Billy Preston at the end. I'd give it about 3 1/2 stars.

  • i wouldnt call it the worst movie i would call it an okay movie

  • Have you seen the Room or Troll 2? Literally the worst films ever. This film still sucks balls though.

  • The only good thing about that movie I remember was when we left the theatre and found a big baggie of quality dope someone must have accidentally dropped on the sidewalk.

There is a God we thought. We got money back and more.

  • I wouldn't call it the worst movie of all time. Have you ever seen Breakin' 2 - Electric Boogaloo? LOL!

  • This is like a drug of some kind. Not too sure exactly which drug. Perhaps LSD?

  • I watched this with my mom after raving about Across the Universe. She said "let me show you the original..." haha it pretty good but also really... well... Seventies. Haha

  • mmmmmmmmmmmmm

    i love "across the universe"

  • my god, this is awesome

  • I heard the Bee Gee begged to be written out of this film because it was to attrocious.

  • that was the movie Tommy

  • no actually it was this one. I remember watching a thing on the Bee Gees on VH1 a while back and they noted that this was the one thing they wish they could have gotten out of.

  • i guess you learn something new everyday

  • Embarrassingly, I saw this at the theater....

  • i just like come together.

  • You know what this trailer needed? DON LaFONTAINE.

Haven't seen the movie yet, but I have it on DVD and am planning a video review of it. I can say this, though--from what I've heard, some of the covers are pretty decent. (I especially like Earth Wind & Fire's "Got to Get You into my Life".)

  • I love this movie... it is awesome...i have watched it numerous times. There is no bad language and family apropriate. it has endless humor!!!

  • There were drug references in it, making it inappropriate for families.

  • As well as the random sexless orgies and creepy old mean Mr. Mustard.

  • stupid asshole

  • extremely weird movie but i have to admit i watched the whole thing willingly....probably made it through because i love the beatles!

  • This movie "ROCKS!". I laugh every time I watch it! I even find myself singing along. Just enjoy it for what it is, a weird funny 70's movie.

  • "Hair","Rocky Horror","Grease","Tommy","Sgt. Pepper"....it was fun seeing all these movies as a kid growing up in the '70s.

(Ok,i didn't see "Rocky Horror" when it came out in 1975,i was 6. i first saw it in 1987 at a midnight show.)

  • this is a trrible movie but I love the Beatles

  • I own this on DVD and I love it so much haha.

  • I think what could saved this movie is the Muppets

It feels like a muppet movie

  • @Gojirafan101

Yes, I can see the (il)logic in what you say and I agree.

  • what a strange movie?

  • aerosmith was one of the big reasons it was a known movie because with out all of those big names this would have sucked shit

  • what the hall~?

  • it's a shame great artists singing a great band's songs and putting it into a movie with steve martin and it came out crap

  • Are you sure this is the Beatles

  • Aerosmith's cover of Come together was pretty great though. That's all, the rest is just fucked up.

Especially 'Because'. It scared the shit out of me. xD

  • yea, i hate covers of the beatles because no one can get it like them, but come together was pretty all right

  • @iSavoyTruffle I've never seen the movie, but how did it scare the shit out of you?

  • @iSavoyTruffle I don't agree with that. Alice did a great version of Because & Peter Framton & The Bee Gee's did great on a couple of tunes.

It's funny to think that KISS were originally slated to be the "future villains"

  • What's this movie even about anyways?

The Beatles aren't even in it.

    I don't get it....at all. D:

  • I don,t blame you that was pretty gay

  • are the beatles even in this

  • Bee Gees did this movie.

  • lol thats steve martin sining maxwells silver hammer

  • Hum.. it's nice ONLY because of the musicians...the trailer is really bad...such a shame...=//

  • 1:15

    What The Hell!?!?!?!

    I Don't Like It!!!

  • THAT WAS GAY!

  • WHAT THEY FUCKED THE SONGS UP!!?!?!?! NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! nobody, and i mean NOBODY, remakes the beatles songs in a different key and makes it sound gay!! XP

  • you know another thing that makes this statment true?

the jonas brothers did a cover of hello goodbye... now thats something that is to be frowned upon.

  • i know that. and i'm so pissed off..well, i just wanna kill them for doing it!!!! i listened to it only to hear how bad it was. my ears were bleeding about 1/4 of the way into it, and i listened to the original and calmed back down.

  • hell yah... they deserve to die!!!!!!!!! :D

  • aerosmith did a kick ass cover of come togther!

  • I bought it on DVD*lol*

Hey I think the idea was good, and might have looked good on paper....

'A lot of careers were ruined in that movie, people already knew I was mental so i could get away with it" - Alice Cooper

  • this movie looks beast. Does anyone know where i can find it?

  • steven tyler?, steve martin? george burns? wtf!

  • Idk what all you people saw, if you even saw the movie, but im fifteen, and i'd like to say that this movie is really good.

and if you dont even like this movie, then why are you watching this? no one just stumbles upon something like this...

  • This movie still kicks the ass of all the hates here. :-P

  • Apparently when it was released in Poland, everyone loved it, lol

  • ive not seen this movie so i cant judge but id like to see it. i couldve been better with the beatles

  • wtf is this shit.

  • WTF!!!! WAS THAT STEVIN TYLER???

  • yup.

  • Allright! the Bee Gees!!

  • Cant hate on this movie im 25 and i love it. I remmeber watching it as a child.

  • Woah, Aerosmith is in this?

  • logang95:

Yeah, and they TOTALLY rocked "Come Together". I was around ten when I saw the movie & I've loved Aerosmith ever since

  • I totally agree.

This WAS the worst movie ever!!

When peeps who haven't seen it, ask about it, that's exactly how I describe it. ;)

  • if the beatles were in it it would be better.

  • wow fake beatles. tryin 2 steal their awesome music. fuck them

  • this movie rules my world. any beatles fan loves this movie. bee gees + pete frampton + earth wind fire + george burns + billy preston (the fifth beatle) + alice cooper + steve martin + aerosmith + wilson picket = campy, poorly acted, wonderfully great movie.

it's so bad, you gotta love it.

  • I thought all 70s movies were like this?

  • from which year is this movie???

  • The original "Sgt. Pepper" album = Best album ever.

"Sgt. Pepper" the movie - Worst movie ever.

  • So wrong on so many levels.

  • Is that the bee gees?

Oh my ....... what a tragedy.

  • ahah agreed

  • I loved this movie and I adore the beatles

  • I just wish one of the fab four would have at least made an appearance even if it was just a cameo.

  • Aerosmith`s performance was cool...too bad Steven Tyler lost that fight with Peter Frampton hahaha!!

  • One of the worst movies ever, a disgrace to all Beatles fans.

Anyone who loved this failboat of a movie for sure can't understand the musical legacy of the Beatles, and how this horror show defiles it.

  • yeah, this movie was awesome. Deal with it haters!

  • I don't care what anyone says. I saw this movie when I was really young (born in '81) and I still love it today. This was an imaginative and hilarious movie in it's time, and is still better than half the crap Hollywood puts out today.

I like almost all of the remade versions of the songs better than the originals (never really liked the Beatles), and while the story was campy and kind of stupid, it was SUPPOSED to be. Yet, it's still better than anything with Johnny Knoxville in it.

  • The only good cover in this film was Aerosmith's.

  • I liked the movie, bonus, it helps me get to sleep at night.

  • Dude this movie is great.....if youve takin a couple hits of acid or smoke 3-4 joints

  • Or if you take a sledge hammer and hit yourself in the head a few times.

    JUST SAY NO TO DRUGS....LOL!

  • watching this trailer for this train wreck ultimato , I understand why punk rock and new wave finally happened in America.. this was the worst of 70s excess right@ the tail end of the decade..only Aerosmith & Earth Wind & Fire emerged unscathed.. there are still people in a coma who watched this movie back in 78.. Im a big fan of all musical acts involved but this was just utter shite. an insult to the intelligence of youth.

  • Thanks for pointing that out. Even though I didn't grow up in that decade (I was born in the mid-90s) it was horrible, taking from then-CHR standpoints. I think the 00s are the new 70s and I hope some new musical movement would come around in the 10s or 20s.

I'm now listening to the Beatles' "Revolver" album, an album released in the great 60s, which had been rejuvenated with a new edge in the 90s.
