  • Freda, you are sadly taken in by organised corruption. It's all about just one more way to control our societies, stealth tax is one real easy way. Climate change is not man made. A cow releases more gas into the atmosphere in 1 week than an average V6 2.5 car does in 1 year covering 12,000 miles. In Roman Britain they grew vines as far north as Hadrians Wall & citrus trees in the south of England. The Antarctic ice fields are expanding. There was a mini Ice Age in 17th century Europe ect

  • @ALBIONTYKE The once highly respected University of East Anglia has been reprimanded for making false claims on climatic weather patterns. Kilimanjaro was loosing its snow cap due to man made climate change we were told, again it was well documented to be a lie. The ozone hole over the Antarctic grew back years ago & now Greenpeace conveniently keeps quite about that. Only manipulated stats backed by international government paid scientists have a real voice while other scientists are silenced

  • @ALBIONTYKE THE CLIMATE IS ALWAYS CHANGING AND ALWAYS HAS THATS NATURE NOT MAN

  • global warming, global cooling, Shut the fuck up if you don't know what your talking about! Make your fucking mind up! Or stop guessing! Were all scared from 2010 any ways!

  • A corporate bridled media reporting on environmental issues? Oh, THAT'S credible.

  • I remember some global warming idiots went up there to investigate "melting" ice and they froze to death! How ironic..

  • Earth and its inhabitants need more, not less, CO2.

    More CO2 means:

    * More Plant Growth

    * Plants need less water

    * More food per acre

    * More robust habitats and ecosystems

CO2 is Earths greatest airborne fertilizer. Without it No Life On Earth!

  • Global warming:-the con of man

  • Noticed bighitter42 , has nothing but negative comments on all Greenpeace vids that show his comments----???????????????????????????

  • Ok!

But why did the summer expedition to Greenland this year leaved earlier than planed? Didnt you found what you wanted? (the expedition for messuring the ice)

  • Greenland is called that because it once was all green and no ice, the climate has changed over thousands of years, ever hear of the ice age? it comes and goes

  • Were we around then? Was there over 6 billion people trying to live with this? Did we have cities with several million people in them depending on glaciers existing to get their water? The balance of the planet changes, but never as fast as we're forcing it today. Evolution of species, of ecosystems, take time. We're looking at a time scale of 100 years here - that's incredibly short, much too short for our ecosystems to handle. Are you taking this risk? I'm not.

  • look it up, several reputable news sources have reported it by findings from scientists studying greenland

  • Wait, so your models can't predict what's happening now, so we're supposed to believe what they predict in thousands of years?

By the way, Greenland is but about five percent of the world's ice. Something like 90% is on and around Antarctica. The rest is spread around and at the North Pole.

For whatever reason we refuse to acknowledge the fact that only one tiny peninsula of Antarctica is losing ice, and that the rest of the continent is gaining ice.

    Very silly Greenpeace. Very silly.

  • sea ice! who cares if the planet gets warmer.i cant afford to go to cancun so global warming will bring it to me.

  • you're an idiot right?? We don't fucking care if you are able to go to cancun or not, the problem here is that THOUSANDS of animals will become extinct if we don't do anything.

hell, because of ppl like you we are as we are now!!

  • Check out youtube eco-video The Book of New Creation...

  • postponement will never be the right way , we hope to understand it soon

  • You're SO right. We should go off halfcocked with fifty five trillion dollar investments every time somebody develops a new and irrational fear.

Whatever, I hope you're happy recanting the prayers of your new religion.

  • Thanks dear bighitter42, there is nothing about religions. my comment was a simple observation, based on the concept that any problem is always better to solve it as soon as possible and no postponement.

  • That's my point. We know next to nothing about the "problem."

I think it's a problem that millions of people lack fresh drinking water. I don't think that having a little bit of ice possibly disappear over the course of a couple thousand years is a problem. And certainly not one we know how to fix.

If your internet access went down should you hit your modem with a hammer in the name of fixing it?

The mandatory group think promoted by modern environmental movements is in fact a religion.

  • there isnt any new information on this. its just an echo of al gore. Greenpeace doesnt really do anything at all except state generally known facts they probably found on the internet posted by al gore. they just sit around using the environment to get a lot of people to follow them

  • It's all getting very scary...

    Something needs to be done...

Check out youtube eco-video The Book of New Creaion...

  • stop pollution the enviroment !!!!! never is late.help the planet now which it need you say stop at climate change

  • sadly it probably is too late, the people who can make the change arent. we are a bacteria growing until we poison ourselves on this wondeful agar dish we call earth.

  • Gillz17

You say it's something out of nothing. If you're wrong, we're screwed!!! If environmentalists are wrong we get a clean planet, cleaner energy supplies, protection of forests and the life that goes with them, and so much more.

Jobs have been, and still are being lost due to the capitalist greed, not by environmentalists. New clean technology is creating jobs.

Most energy comes from destructive industry. Oil companies care nothing of destroying lives and homes. We need change in many ways!

  • save the world?

Dont trust the media who would be able to "wake up" the people.

get a MEGAPHONE! and SHOUT OUT LOUD what happens!

    -in small and BIG CITIES!

    THE RESISTANCE IS GROWING!

    London: youtube/user/cveitch

  • lots of peple wont realize it until they go through the problems them self

  • frida bengtson måste vara svensk:P

  • its NOT too late!

  • It's already late! If we start doing something now, we are just decreasing what we will face in the future! But be ready, the changes in the climate are already here!

  • Wish this was out in the 50's - then we could have saved it

  • It's too Late...Money needs to be spent to Desalinate the World Oceans and massive microscopic De-plastic filtration of all it's sea's and Tributaries .

The pollution that is already in the water will continue to absorb solar radiation, worm the Oceans and continue the ice melt.

  • Sadly the religious nutters around the world all argue agaist it.

    S. Palin is a good example. Their followers state things like:" I believe in Sarha Palin, cause she´s filled with the holy ghost."

This reflection of ridiculous stupidity is far too common.

If our history proves one thing then it´s cling to the system as long as possible. I bet in 40 years after having unleashed millions of climate refugeespoliticians still debate what can be done about it.

  • Sadly the extreme environmentalist nutters around the world will continue to believe in global warming/cooling/climate change even if all the science were to say they are wrong. They are in too deep now to go back. A good example is Al Gore's "hockey stick" which has been debunk over and over again.

Treating global warming as a religion is the norm to its believers.

If history proves one thing it is to hold on to "climate change" at all costs even if it means destroying the economy of all.

  • Sure just believe HowTheWorldWorks..

XD! Or has this moron deluted you into thinking his rants´re serious?

    ROFL!!!!

  • These environmentalist nutters, as you arrogantly call them, are surely just acting on decades of scientific study. Add that to the visual evidence seen particularly in the summer sea ice as it disappears in the Arctic, the retreat of virtually all the worlds glaciers, plus the rising sea levels, extreme weather conditions world wide, and maybe it's those who fail to act who are the real nutters.

As for destroying the economy, the bankers have done a good enough job of that!!

  • Purpletim100,

First, I referred to them as "environmentalist nutters" in response to 0PsycoDad0's calling religious people "religious nutters".

Many qualified scientists refute global warming/cooling/climate change (whatever you are calling it these days). As for visual evidence, that means little. During the ice age there were no factories, cars, etc. yet there were extreme weather conditions.

Environmentalists are making something of nothing to control business and are killing jobs.

  • Visual evidence backs up decades of scientific research. 60 years ago it was the scientists speaking of climate change/global warming, or whatever you choose to call it, that were ridiculed. Now they're in a very large majority. the climate is changing faster than ever before. No one argues about ice ages etc, but the change happens slower than it is now.

  • Fantastic expedition! Great work.

Now, let's make our leaders listen.
