I never thought TY interested in ZZ the whole time. He just thinks she is like his dead wife. During the earlier episodes (when ZZ is round), TY already has in some unexplainable of feeling for SL. Just that he never wants to go and sort it out. He thinks he's an vampire and he can't fall for anyone. He feels trap inside. Only when they are separated that he realizes it but still unable to face his own fear of being a vampire that can never get hurt in the future.

When I mean get hurt is vampire can't die. So if one day, the one he loves die, what will he do? He's afraid he will bite her then, but then, making her become an vampire is also hard for her because she has to live like a vampire life.
