Very interesting music, Andy, and the images are little dark and very interesting.
I'm not recognizing too many of these movie scenes. I thought I have watched many many movies. I see that you only have 26 videos. I thought you had way more videos than that. Perhaps you deleted some old ones...
@kumhuimusicgirl I have rested a few. I really like this one. It has an edge and is one of my early works. Now I would change a lot of things, but I like that it is brave and not like anything else out there. I am a big Film Buff. Lots of images in my films come from Movie stills. I was very new to vid making here. I didn't know about editing.. lol But I prefer it to a lot of my more safe stuff. I do like dark images, but i am a little weird. Wierd but harmless wierd. haha xxxxxxxxx
@MrAlphacenturi Hi Gray. I missed this comment !! Thanks for watching. You will recognise a lot of the images I am sure. I am playing your The Red Bad Of Courage post at the moment !! It's great !!!!!!!
I never watched this one Andy !! I clearly understand why this is you own favorite , it has such dark feelings yet lighy hearted at the same time , a bit like if life was a joke ..Really strong video , goes directly in my favorites ..
Watching this, with all the great movies references, made me also realize how I'm ignorant in this area !
@martimax34 This is probably my Sound. Lots of stuff over the top, dropping in and out like the raging seas.. I didn't want to make the images too heavy (I did that in Rage..) and i was quite new to Vid making back then (and music making too) It sounds great on my ipod. When I am late for work, peddling on my bike !! The beginning intro is a bit heavy haha but those who stick with it are rewarded. I hope you are well, my creative friend. Tour England some time !! I would love to meet you.
is this a vid recycle combined with a new name re-invention...I know a song about that one Bungle Bear (will explain if you dont get that one..lol).xx.
.I do like this better than dare I say it the H chord..this song reminds me of my present state of mind..anaylise that Batman!! x
just peeping at your vstuff..I'm skiving !! from my painting again !! I really like this..its funky, futuristic+distubing at the same time,,nice to see David Hemmings,DAvid Warner ,Edie Sedgewick+Walter Mathau all together...marvellous 5*
Oh yes!! Go for it Andy !!! Boy ...some really weird pics in this one . Was that one of a woman in the stirrups giving birth??Another one looks creepily like Gordon Brown . Ha!! Magic, as always! Gareth.
lol. I quite like this one, I must admit. Works well loud with great speakers. This is my noisy Cop Show tribute. Probably my fav of mine, or close to it. I threw it all in on that one. My Pre-angst stage. Thanks for watching K !!
Nice composition mate! I had to listen to it a few times to hear all the different melodies of harmony and dissidence. You seem to write music your way, which, is much different from most. The spacing in your music has always captured my attention. I like that about your music. Keep doing what you do.
yeah, I'm with you....best to stay in bed or in a closet most dayz.. SPIDERS..!! Trumpets AND trombones and.....OMG DENTISTS..!!!! Wow Andy, 5 stars for just plain freaky-ness and 10 stars for living to tell about it. We should get back under the bed.....NOW!!!
I'm quite proud of this one. Glad you liked it. It's very me. Actually its my fav one. Just posted another called The Last Lap. I will send it over as soon as I can. The pics are good in this one. XX Nearly forgot...Thank's for watching!!
Wow! Thanks for checking this out. I could have done with some of your cool vocals. Thanks for watching. Great to hear from another musician. Andy :))
You want jazz, you will get jazz!!! I thought Sunday morning hangover was a bit jazzy. I will do a bebop one soon. It's got to be done. Good to hear from you Sam. Stay in touch, brother. Andy
Those images always keep me enthralled Andy. I just keep watching to see what comes up next. Like the music too. Yes, another hit for you. Well done. xx
Andy, I can`t tell you enough how profoundly impressed I am with your creations. I really am, I sit here listening and I can`t wait for each new image to appear. Your musical compositions are hard to describe and difficult to analyze. All I can say is that they are highly satisfying and absorbing. I was paricularly happy to see the image from Charley Varrick, I love that film. I`m a big movie buff as you`ve probably noticed.
I guessed. lol Me too!! I am a big Matthau fan. Thought I would throw some obscure ones in. It's a bit like the music, you got to reach in a bit to get them. I try to make each track a little different. But I still would rather your live sax than the tinny comp one. Thanks for the great comment, as always Always wonderful to hear from you. I want to have a go at some bebop soon. Always loved C Parker...But then I worked in a jazz dept for 6 years something was bound to rub off.
Haha, amazing. Matthau has been an addiction for me for years. Ever since I saw him in Hopscotch. He`s just the best. Sunshine Boys, Odd Couple, Fortune Cookie and even First Monday in October.
Even films like House Calls and Guide for the Married Man are good due to the charm of Matthau. I got most of his films on DVD, except those that aren`t available. I wish they would release A New Leaf soon. I love Bird, got lots of his CD`s. The greatest altoist no doubt. Looking forward to your next video Andy
He was great in I'm not Rappaport (one of his last films) One of the great lived in faces too. The taking of Pelham123, California Suite... So many.... Trying to track down two of my fav films Mickey One with Warren Beaty and Simon with Alan Arkin. Mickey One has a killer soundtrack by Stan Getz. You would love it.
It does a bit. .. Unintentional, honest!! The difference is Jacko made it with some of the best and most expensive musicians available and I only had a dodgy imac keyboard and no help. And it shows. Glad you liked it though. More coming up. Andy
Everything is good to express also danger, distress whatever as long as it doesn't keep our INNER COP busy and thus very content. you see what I mean. Great that you go on exploring our human tragicomedy in sound and vision Spotted-among other great pictures- "Deux Anglaises et le continent" by Truffaut- i've loved this film and our dear Michel Legrand; in what film ? I'm wondering Francine xx
The movie is A time for loving (1971) based on a play by Jean Anouilh (he once said'there will always be a lost dog somewhere that prevents me from being happy') Always loved Truffaut. I was going to call the vid 'What do you mean there's a bomb on the plane?!!' As tribute to those Cop Action Movies. But the times demanded a rethink. Glad you liked the vid, Francine. More coming up, I hope.
The are all in there somewhere. There are a few flaws in it, but it's where I am at the moment. The levels are a bit all over the place. But I am still quite new at this. Hope to do some more soon. Glad you liked it. Andy
Then it's off to a good start. Hope the beginning wasn't to scary. It may freak some people out. lol, Glad you liked it. It's very me. Soundtracky wise. Thanks for commenting, rating and faving!!!! Andy xx
The danger/trouble sure seems to be lurking here... :)) You do have your own style with the pics..love to wait for the next one. Plus they go so well with the tune which is once again great!! 5***** and fav!!
