@Jessimoss11 Just seeing your reply now --- it was a clockwise problem -- never knew that before, so I must have gotten lucky with all of my earlier projects. Figured it out eventually
@MAChatham Hello, yues turns out it was me being a bit of a sewing noob, if you keep winding the need up a bit further, it eventually popped out, i was just stopping short...
also i now make sure that my bobbin thread is going clockwise - that helps too. Good luck!!!

try turning your bobbin the other way round. if its turning anti clockwise whilst in the bobbin case try make it turn clock wise or vice versa
