  • have ur pet spade on neudered, goodbye everybody LMFAO

  • Why does Bob sound so rushed?

  • R.I.P..janice....

  • @darrylhaynes she died?

  • @newazlp1921isback

No, Janice is still alive and doing well.

  • Was This Daytime or Nighttime?

  • Did CBS still have a prize limit in place by this time?

  • Damn, that contestant is hot. The chick that won is cute, too.

  • Angela is cute! not to sound creepy!

  • Never in the history of game shows will there ever be another Super-Host like that of the legend of legends, Mr. Bob Barker! He is and will always be the very very BEST !!

  • lol she is excited, i'm sure that wore off when she had to pay taxes on that stuff.

  • damn that was a huge showcase, imagine if one of them would have gotten a DSW off this one it would have been huge

  • both showcases were over $70,000 sweet!

  • aww poor granny

  • Wow I miss those skorts.

  • Do skorts not exist anymore?

  • No those were short lived.I think those went out in 95' Only 2 years.I miss the 80's jeans the baggy upfront with no back pockets. Those were around from 1986 to 1992

  • Note that you can see where today's key production members were in 1996 -- Kathy, Stan, Adam, and Sue. (Producer Kathy Greco, and co-producers Stan Blits, Adam Sandler, and Sue MacIntyre).

  • Angela sure is hot!

  • And rich, too. Over $121,000 in the mid 90's!

  • your right about that!

  • Was this the first time of the more recent era that the player's winnings flashed on-screen? I think they did do that a time or two in the early days, but after that, I don't remember seeing it until a few years ago.

  • Bob is so upbeat, a lot different than last year.

  • I miss him so much. You can tell that he was sad about his retirement during his last shows, because he wasn't as enthusiastic when people won. On his last show, you could see it in his face that he was upset about leaving the show and all his fans that he loved for 50 years.

  • That's true too, but technically, he still had the biggest winning difference. "I'm gonna risk it all and bid one dollar!"

  • Same to you!

  • $45,240 I believe is the biggest difference ever in "Price is Right" primetime showcase history...in daytime, I believe $40,693 is the biggest difference...it was set in December 2004...

  • Actually, there was an even bigger difference on the Million Dollar Spectacular which celebrated Bob's 80th birthday.

"Daniel, you bid $1 on your showcase. And Daniel, the actual price of your showcase is... ONE HUNDRED TWENTY ONE THOUSAND, SEVEN OH FOUR. A difference of $121,703."

And would you believe he WON!

  • The reason he did that, was because he knew his opponent overbid, so that's why he only bid $1...though that may be the biggest difference, he did it that way for an easy win...

  • I have that MDS on tape! If his opponent had bid $1,000 lower, I think Daniel may have been a little embarrassed.

  • The previous biggest winner in pir primetime history before the MDS.

  • Long live TPIR!

  • do you have the showcases from this?

  • a mark goodson production

    bob barker

    drew carry

  • I do. I'll try to get them up eventually as well as other TPiR videos. I've been very tied up with work lately. I've worked 12 straight days which is definitely exhausting. Anyways, thanks for the request.
