Never in the history of game shows will there ever be another Super-Host like that of the legend of legends, Mr. Bob Barker! He is and will always be the very very BEST !!
No those were short lived.I think those went out in 95' Only 2 years.I miss the 80's jeans the baggy upfront with no back pockets. Those were around from 1986 to 1992
Note that you can see where today's key production members were in 1996 -- Kathy, Stan, Adam, and Sue. (Producer Kathy Greco, and co-producers Stan Blits, Adam Sandler, and Sue MacIntyre).
Was this the first time of the more recent era that the player's winnings flashed on-screen? I think they did do that a time or two in the early days, but after that, I don't remember seeing it until a few years ago.
I miss him so much. You can tell that he was sad about his retirement during his last shows, because he wasn't as enthusiastic when people won. On his last show, you could see it in his face that he was upset about leaving the show and all his fans that he loved for 50 years.
$45,240 I believe is the biggest difference ever in "Price is Right" primetime showcase history...in daytime, I believe $40,693 is the biggest difference...it was set in December 2004...
Actually, there was an even bigger difference on the Million Dollar Spectacular which celebrated Bob's 80th birthday.
"Daniel, you bid $1 on your showcase. And Daniel, the actual price of your showcase is... ONE HUNDRED TWENTY ONE THOUSAND, SEVEN OH FOUR. A difference of $121,703."
The reason he did that, was because he knew his opponent overbid, so that's why he only bid $1...though that may be the biggest difference, he did it that way for an easy win...
I do. I'll try to get them up eventually as well as other TPiR videos. I've been very tied up with work lately. I've worked 12 straight days which is definitely exhausting. Anyways, thanks for the request.

Their bids were terrible, especially the old lady that bid $25,000.

Bob is so upbeat, a lot different than last year.

Gee let's see...He'll live the rest of his life, and then eventually, he'll die. The way most people go.
Brian211978 3 years ago
That's true too, but technically, he still had the biggest winning difference. "I'm gonna risk it all and bid one dollar!"

I have that MDS on tape! If his opponent had bid $1,000 lower, I think Daniel may have been a little embarrassed.
Godzillaman 3 years ago
The previous biggest winner in pir primetime history before the MDS.
