wow this is very interesting. i meet on occasion Jamaicans and Haitians who have migrated to Japan and one Haitian i met married a Japanese woman and he is now raising his children there.

I am very impressed by Caribbean people who are willing to make such an amazing trek to such a different place where they are forced to learn about new ideas and culture when so many Jamaicans move to the USA and live in all Jamaican areas and never interact with other communities. i will look for this book.

Your sexperiences and the fact that your African-ness was so intriguing to the Japanese (especially when you first went to that really rural area) kinda reminds me of Jimi Hendrix. He was feeling lost and burned out playing music in America and was desiring a rebirth and then serendipitously got the opportunity to go to England where his blackness and American-ness was quite a thing of intrigue to the Brits. Oh...and he was gettin' mad busy with a whole bunch of English honeys too.

i knew no japanese before i moved to japan 10 years ago, but i started studying two days after my arrival. im temporarily in the US to promote the book and support my (japanese) wife through grad school. she finished in may and ill soon be returning home to japan. by the way, a fetish not not pertain to an attraction to humans, only to objects or parts of a human. therefore, i dont have a fetish for yellow, i have a strong preference.

@jxsilicon9 i returned to the US to promote the book and to get my wife (she's in the book) her greencard so she could attend grad law and business school. i dont have a fetish for yellow women. I have a preference. you cant have a fetish for someONE, only for someTHING. so yes, my wife is japanese. was supposed to return home to japan in october, but I have to stay in LA and do a one man show based on the book. debut is spring of this year. almost done writing it.

I'm coming to Japan (Tokyo) for the first time in July, because I'm very curious about the country and the culture. And I have a personal project. I'm also glad that you are giving a good image of Black people, because the tv does the opposite :)

@zuppayannick thanks man. my book is not yet available in french. in fact, its not available at all at the moment, as it got picked up by a traditional publisher and will be republished oct 15. I am however, working on selling foreign rights. Hence it should be available in european languages after the republishing. have fun in japan, you will enjoy it.

Than place the ebook on your own secure site so hackers and idiots like this CorrectMotion won't steal from it again. I know that's what one guy does on here. I just bought the book from Amazon. I'm a black woman and even I couldn't stop reading it. I'm not a sex addict, but I was fascinated with his life in Japan and his explanation of the relationship between Japanese men and women, and with foreign men. I don't blame foreign men for traveling to Japan for various reasons. Seems like many foreign men honestly fall in love with Japanese women.
