We have been sailing the 8.1 in breezes upto 30 knots. They are no more difficult than a laser standard rig. In some ways they are better as you pull on the cunningham as hard as you can and let off the kicker up wind. The leech just blades out and the boat flys. No way near as bad at stalling upwind as the standard Laser rig. Down wimd now thats a bit more tricky!
he is going to fast and hiking in like 8 knots of wind haha that sail is so huge. i dont understand how someone is supposed to hold that boat down in more than 15 knots of wind

tried up to 12kts... hard! actually less than 8 kts on that video... full hike at 5-6 kts!
