@hatland123, the majority of the time these kits will outlast the cars. the only real problems is when people dont prepare the car with supporting mods to work with the turbo and blow their engine or trans out due to the higher hp numbers. most the complainers also dont buy the full kit and make their own systems and screw the whole kit up. theres a lot more math and variables in turbos then there is with superchargers. i like them both, but ive done my studying and many years of research.

i actually called those guys , they are claiming 31BHP for 1 PSI , their twin turbo kit for mustang , they claimed 220WHP increase from 7PSI , WTF !!!! , its almost impossible specially when your average is 7WHP / 1PSI , your lucky if you get 10BHP/1PSI ,on a " NO Engine rebuild " straight bolt on kit !!!! NO WAY

superchargers are cool but you can more power from a turbo hands down without using extra power from the motor....thats the nice thing about rear mounted turbo is that the hp is essentially free

@sjh200765 Well, front mounted turbos the HP is still essentially free. Provides back pressure needed off exhaust, the back pressure is used to spin the turbo, back pressure had to be there anyway....

@sjh200765 Actually, I've never owned a v6 or bigger engine that was turbo'd, nor had I seen a turbod v6, 8, whatever.

I've always turbo'd 4 cylinder cars, or bought engines that were preturbo'd from Japan. For example, 4efte out of a starlet or something.

I learned a week ago, that v6's turbos are downstream anyway. The turbo sits at the Y pipe. Not 4inches from the engineon an exhaust manifold. I want to turbo a Fiero, but the turbo is in the rear no matter where you put it on the exhaust :P

This STS surbo system isnt that good, especially if you have car smarts like I do, Those turboes are mounted under the car, n e one with a sawzall can take those puppies in a few seconds, guess what, new turboes. All of the piping that you have, going from under the car back to the intake, you lose atleast 4-5 lbs of boost just in the piping, its really not worth it.

2nd you lose 0 psi it just takes a bit longer to reach peak power ie... pressurizing the entire pipe STS aren't the best but a vette with any turbo will EAT most anything you get next to be that the track or the red light

Also as I said before it ISNT worth the bullshit and trouble, reguardless of building pressure in the tubes it takes too long, and by the time it has reached your engine you lost the precious time it would have taken for a regular turbo set up to accomplish let alone a supercharger. Over all sts setups are weak, so piss off. I dont care what you have to say.

hey jbarry, when you are driving, you usually start in -20hg(inches of mercury(measurement for pressure)) once you go to 0 that means no boost nor any vacuum. if you go past 0 then you sart building boost. i have had turbo cars all my life so i know. also you can rev the shit out of an engine when the clutch is put in and it wont build any boost like i said originally asshole
